”This is a very unique and wonderful place to stay. I enjoyed showing up and not having to wait to check in. We arrived later than our check-in and walked straight to our room. The room was very nice. Felt upscale, vintage and comfortable without losing all the history and charm of the building. We will definitely stay here again when in the area. ”

”We had a two bedroom room. Beds were comfortable. Nice clean bathroom with extra towels. Easy to get to off highway 5. It was a contactless motel which was very convenient.”

”Room was clean, had decent amenities and the staff were polite. The furniture was a bit worn. Refrigerator a bit noisy at night and we only had one luggage rack, causing us to move the luggage frequently.”

”The beds and pillows needs to be changed. I woke up with a back pain from sagging bed. Other than that, it was okay and we stayed there just for the night and it’s a bummer I could get a good sleep.”

”We were very happy with our stay at the Strawberry Valley Lodge. The setting is lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included, a plus when traveling. All good!”

”We went to snowmobile and the snow didn’t cooperate but we settled in to our sweet thoughtfully detailed room. We were told it was the smallest of the rooms but as a couple we enjoyed it and the Mountain View’s. We took advantage of the eateries downstairs loving the Butcher Block grill gotta try the steak sandwiches!! So good. Loved exploring the area and coming back to the common areas and a toasty fire. The history of this place is so cool and got to have a lovely conversation with the owner...

”Easy on and off the freeway while also a short walk to downtown with restaurants and shops. Hot tub was much comfie and well maintained. Building is showing its age but the essentials are well maintained. Newer AC units kept room cozy.”

”I've stayed at Evergreen several times. Its quiet and lowkey. The owners are lovely! Starbucks opens at 5 a.m. in town - so the lack of coffee in room was solved quite easily.”
