”We checked in approx 6.45pm (en-route to dropping our daughter back at her uni digs in Bath & returned after) on a dark January evening. Seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, but we found it OK. Welcomed by Victoria - Steve (owner) was on holiday. Shown to our room & how we had access to the lounge & kitchen. Such a lovely house. Lots to look at. No TV in our room, so thought we’d watch the one downstairs - it wasn’t to be, though, as we couldn’t find the remote control - lol! Too late by then...

”Very welcoming and friendly. We were met by the owner who showed us around and explained all the amenities and gave lots of useful advice. Very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and beautifully cooked. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Reggie the dog even had a sausage cooked for him for breakfast!”

From the amazing breakfast, to the beautifully decorated and clean rooms, to the heated floors, and ease of check in, it was truly remarkable. The staff was friendly but also gave us space. I loved this place, and would highly recommends to anyone looking for a place to stay. City Centre was about a 15 minute walk, but the bus stop was right outside as well.
