It had been 3 years since our last trip to Branson and I was not ready for the changes in accommodations. 1st time I’ve encountered an extra charge for early check in. I’ve had good communication with the host prior to arrival including WiFi and door code information the day before or the morning of my arrival. I had a “passport “ on my phone but would always tell me “It’s too early “. So I arrive at 275 , open the passport and it advise we have to go to the clubhouse to check in. I do that then back to the cabin. A couple hours later I receive a text or email advising the office closes soon. Here’s your code to get in the cabin. Now I’m pissed! Why could I not have had that door code earlier in the day? You do change the code after every guest???About the unit:The door to the deck is very difficult if not impossible to lock. The deadbolt does not match up to the strike plate.The old furniture on the deck needs refurbished and tightened up. Very uncomfortable to sit there with it squeaking every move you make. The unit is oversized for the deck.The toaster is dangerous for a small child to be using. You dare not touch the toaster when you remove your toast when it’s complete or you will burn your fingers.The handle on the medium sized skillet in the unit, has a broken handle.That aside, I guess our visit was OK and the cabin suited our needs.But I have learned not to lease a unit through thousand hills.Next time we come to Branson, I will arrange a cabin with indi
