”This was our second stay at La Boulangerie. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and really felt at home. The cottage is in a quiet location in lovely countryside with beautiful views. Various nice walks are possible from the cottage. It is truly a wonderful place to stay. Thanks to Sue, Paul and Sally for making us feel so welcome!”

”Le gîte est idéalement situé entre la Manche et le Calvados. Le cadre est calme et fort agréable. Nous y avons reçu un très bon accueil. Le logement est très bien équipé. Nous y étions le premier week-end de mai et nous avons pu profiter pleinement de la piscine couverte et du jacuzzi. Nous conservons l’adresse.”

”La maison est dans un endroit magnifique et calme. Il y a peu d'infrastructures, mais nous avons trouvé un merveilleux restaurant à 5 minutes en voiture (La Parenthèse de la Baie). La maison a été rénovée récemment, mais elle manque malheureusement encore d'équipements (couvre-prises, salle de bain inachevée, petits détails cosy), elle manque donc d'un peu de confort. ”Wir haben uns bei Patrick und Elisabeth sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Empfang war herzlich. Mit der DeepL App klappte die Verständigung auch einigermaßen, wobei es bei den Übersetzungen öfter etwas zu lachen gab. Am Sonntag haben wir von den Gastgebern sogar Croissants bekommen und später noch eine Einladung zum Aperitif. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht. Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle, Herd und Kaffeemaschine. Schön fanden wir auch, dass wir Terrasse mit Liegestühlen nutzen konnten. Der Ort ist mit...

”Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das kleine Häuschen ist sehr liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und unkompliziert. Es gibt in der Umgebung viel zu entdecken und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu erreichen. Wir und auch unserer kleiner Hund haben sich dort sehr wohlgefühlt.”

”Nous avons passé quelques jours chez Marc, qui est vraiment super sympa, très ouvert à la communication et très à l'écoute de ses hôtes. Il nous a réservé un accueil très chaleureux et a bien voulu nous faire visiter son atelier et découvrir ses belles créations malgré un timing serré pour lui. La maison a beaucoup de charme. ”The apartment was as stated, very clean, towels, bedding, pots, pans, plates and cutlery all provided. Reception spoke English, which was a great result as our French is very poor. Communication about the booking was very good and clear. Key collection and drop is really easy. Great location for zipping around Normandy, as easy access to the main roads.”

"Welcome receptionist was very nice and offered water. After that we didnt met a person that spoke english and everybody who we tried to talk to, ignored when they didnt understand. We were unable to ask anything during our stay because the reception was closed and the others we met didnt understand english, not even at the beakfast. We went to the breakfast around 8:30 and all the food were gone and tables dirty. Rooms were old and dusty, definitely NOT worth the money even tho the location was nice. NOTE that there are a lot of stairs in the area and at the hotel. "
