  • Welcome to Big Blue Trace, where luxury meets the serene mountain landscape. This spacious home, with its beautiful architecture, offers an abundance of living space and stunning features.

    Great Room: Relax by a cozy stone fireplace, framed by a breathtaking floor-to-ceiling wall of windows that showcase incredible views of the Colorado skies and allow abundant natural light to fill the vaulted ceilings.
    Kitchen: Modern, well-equipped, and fully stocked with everything you need for preparing family meals, including a Keurig coffee machine.
    Living Areas: Enjoy two spacious living areas for relaxation.
    Loft: A large loft provides additional space.
    Media Room: Dedicated space featuring a large flat-screen TV, comfortable sectional, and a selection of board games for entertainment.
    Dedicated Workspace: Available for your convenience.
    Bedrooms (5 total):
    2 King Suites, each a private sanctuary (one with balcony access).
    2 Queen Suites (some featuring charming sloped ceilings).
    1 Captain’s Bunk-Bed (twin over full), perfect for younger guests.
    1 Futon
    Bathrooms (4.5 total): Updated with modern amenities, including walk-in showers and a freestanding soaking tub in select suites, providing a spa-like experience.

    PARKING REGULATIONS – Only 4 vehicles are allowed to park in the driveway. Parking on the street is NOT permitted. Violation of either of these regulations may result in $300 fine per day.

    Please note that amenities may have closures or restrictions during your visit.
    MAXIMUM OF 10 PEOPLE – No more than 10 people may occupy the house at any given time. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ALLOWED. Violation of either of these may result in a $500 fine per day.

    BRECKENRIDGE NOISE ORDINANCE – Quiet hours are from 10PM – 8AM. Violation of quiet hours is a class 2 petty offense and will result in a fine of up to $600 per violation from the Breckenridge Police Department.

    The HOMEOWNER ASSOCIATIONS ARE STRICTLY enforcing any violation to the POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE COUNTY CODE VIOLATION DEPARTMENT
    A 4 wheel drive vehicle will be needed in the snowy winter months.

This property was perfect for my family. There was ample room for us to spread out when we wanted to, but also space for us all to come together. Communication with the host was quick and effective.

We had a great time at the residence! It was clean with beautiful views! Beautiful home and instructions were clear. I would recommend for the owners to shovel and salt the driveway, we had a difficult time coming in and out.

We stayed here with five couples for a college friends reunion and it was an amazing property. Great location and a beautiful house with all necessary luxury amenities.

Family Long Weekend Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is very spacious with wonderful views. Proximity to downtown Breck and ski slopes is great. Would recommend stocking the kitchen with more cooking utensils, coffee mugs etc. Would definitely recommend this house to a large group.

Perfect Breckenridge Stay

The house provided a comfortable, relaxing, and very enjoyable family and friend weekend in Breckenridge. The perfect amenities and space for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked for group dinners, space was great for spending time together, and hot tub views were so relaxing. So pleased with our stay!

50th Birthday Destination Getaway

Wonderful Mountain Home

This house had plenty of space, plenty of bathrooms, and plenty of bedrooms for our group of 8 adults. The kitchen had everything we needed and the grill was appreciated. The wrap around porch and hot tub had fantastic views of the mountains! We loved the privacy here and hope to stay again!

Couples Retreat

This property was perfect for our couples retreat. It was located close to town and very beautiful. The home was well stocked and there was plenty of space for 8 adults. We had a leak in the bathroom and it was easy to communicate with the team and they came out to fix it immediately! I would definitely recommend this property!

Beautiful House in Breckenridge

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Big Blue Trace was perfect for my family of 10. Each family had a level with two bedrooms and my husband and I had the master bedroom on the main floor. My only suggestion would be more comfortable furniture on the deck.

Lovely property. Easy access to Breck and Vail. Property management company was wonderful to work with. Plenty of pots/pans/cooking needs as well as utensils, towels, trash bags etc.

Family Vacation

Beautiful home! After spending our days downtown Breckenridge, we couldn’t wait to get back to this cozy cabin to relax. The hiking trails nearby are beautiful and the views are breathtaking. We were even lucky enough to see a few moose walk through the neighbors property. The hosts provided great communication, making checking in and checking out very simple. We had the best week here!

Great property for for three families with each having a floor. Secluded location allowed the kids (age 4 to 6) to bike of the access road. Hiking trail right outside the door.

Loved our stay

We absolutely loved our stay at the Big Blue Trace! The house was incredibly spacious and allowed for our family to spend some quality time together! Similar to the note on the property description - make sure you have an AWD! The house is off of a windy uphill road and with the snowy conditions, it is an absolutely must to have an AWD.

Beautiful Views

This property is beautiful! It is exactly as listed and very well stocked. We came with a group of 10 women ages 26-65 and the house was perfect for us. There was plenty of space for everyone with the 5 bedrooms and basement area. The views from this home are amazing and the hot tub was an added bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and then some. We would definitely stay again!

Great home in a beautiful location

We loved the location and the layout of this home. It was perfect for our family. The kitchen was nice to prepare meals and hang out as a family. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. The only improvement we’d like to see before returning would be updating some of the bedspreads and throw pillows as they were stained. Also, the home could have had a more thorough cleaning before we arrived. Those are easy fixes.

The home is beautiful. And the view around the home is amazing. The heated floors in the bathroom was something to look forward to after a nice shower.The only thing was that the stove and oven were not clean. The kings size pillows should have king size pillow cases. But besides that it was a great stay and the host responds quick.

Park with playground and pretty creek within less than 5 minute drive for the kids. Great respite from hot summer back home!

Absolutely perfect!!

This home in the mountains will be our yearly home away from home as long as it’s offered! We’ve already made that a MUST! The property is beautiful, the views are incredible! The hot tub sitting while snowing is superior! Hands down best money we have spent on a vacation rental! LOVE BIG BLUE TRACE! Also, we found out we are expecting a new bundle of joy and a sweet miracle while we had our stay here, it will forever be memorable to us!
