I went there for a 5 day ski vacation. The studio condo was clean and in good condition. The layout of the building and access to parking was very convoluted and disjointed. The management staff did communicate via text messages, which was unique. Despite requesting/confirming housekeeping via their text messaging fir day I was scheduled to have it, housekeeping never showed. Additionally, on day two of my stay, HVAC swapped over WiFi routers. it wasn’t until the last day that I was able to get connected to the Internet from this new wireless router.
Most importantly, how the Hyatt Vacation Club managed and supported guests was minimal at best. Being there for skiing, they never gave me any details on ski and boot storage or common practices on getting to and from the nearest ski lift. As it turned out, it wasn’t an easy walk as advertised as it included going down one set of stairs, walking across a paved shopping area, around a lake and then up another set of stairs followed by a long walk on a paved and icy plaza. It was definitely tiresome and uncomfortable to make that walk in ski boots & carrying skis. Furthermore, there was no explanation on how to store skis and boots so I ended up having to go down to the garage to store them in my car or carry them from the elevator through the lobby and down a narrow hallway to my room.
