Beautiful Home on the River!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home! The kitchen had everything I needed to cook fabulous dinners! Everything was marked so we knew where to put things back! The beds were comfortable! Russell was always available by phone if we had any questions. A great stay and hope we’ll be able to stay there again

Perfect home for our family ski vacation

Our stay at Rivers Edge was absolutely wonderful! The home literally has everything you'd need to accommodate a group of all ages - from babies to adults! We were a group of eight adults two grandkids (3 y/o and 22 months). The house is incredibly well appointed - fully stocked kitchen, plenty of space to dine together or hang out on the couch and talk or watch movies, beautiful, comfortable bedrooms/bathrooms - and the hot tub after skiing... icing on the cake! We absolutely loved the drying rack in the garage for our wet ski gear - and just how it easy it was to get back and forth to town. If someone has a big, fun family or friend group that is looking for the ultimate home to gather - this is definitely your place! Russell our host was incredibly helpful before and during our stay, quick to answer questions and so courteous and gracious! We considered a lot of properties before choosing Rivers Edge - but none came close to offering what this place has and absolutely delivered. Our kids said it was the best trip ever! We'll be back!

Perfection

Had a large group, fixed every meal in a kitchen that was well stocked for 14 people! Lots of areas for different age groups to hang out! The added extra snowfall while we were there did make it perfect. The snow removal happened quickly. Snow boot dryer in garage was awesome! Large enough for all the stuff!! Russell was a perfect host!

We had an incredible stay at Russ's property! The house was absolutely spotless and had such a welcoming, homey feel to it. It’s clear that Russ really cares about his guests, as the attention to detail was outstanding. Everything was clearly labeled, making check-in and navigating the space a breeze, which is always appreciated for larger groups. We had 13 people in our party, and the house was perfect for us—plenty of space, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out.One thing that really stood out was Russ's amazing communication. Not only did he ensure our stay was seamless, but when we accidentally left some jewelry behind, Russ went above and beyond to track it down and ship it back to us. We were so grateful for his kindness and effort to return it.This place truly felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommend it for large groups looking for a beautiful, well-kept, and accommodating space. Thank you, Russ, for making our stay so memorable!

Christmas Family Vacation 2024

Beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood that is quiet and close to town. The home is very spacious for 7 adults with plenty of extra room. The lower level had a huge entertainment area for football watchers, a foosball and air hockey table that we had a lot of fun with. The hot tub was very clean and wonderful after a day of skiing. Wonderful!

Our family of 8 (three couples and two littles) thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was lovely, clean and comfortable and the kitchen was amazingly stocked for a Thanksgiving weekend. The house had plenty of spaces to be together and to have some quiet time when needed. You couldn’t ask for a better host. Russell was in constant communication making sure everything was perfect.

Thoroughly enjoyable!

Our extended family felt very comfortable in this lovely home! We especially loved the efficient, well-supplied kitchen since we prepared all our meals at home together. The nice deck received shade by dinner time so we enjoyed eating outside surrounded by towering pines and the river sounds. Several deer strolled through the yard one morning. Comfortable couches, chairs, and beds were appreciated, as well as all the instructions. The layout of bedrooms allowed us to spread out, including the comfortable basement sofa sleeper and full bathroom. The location feels secluded with almost no traffic, yet just 1 block from the shuttle stop. The fishermen didn’t catch any trout on the property because the river was running pretty fast, but plenty of other places to fish nearby. It was nice to know Russ was so available in case any need had come up during our stay.

What a find……beautiful home nestled by the river and within walking distance to the town of Breckinridge. The owner was in touch with us at all times and made our stay very easy . Highly recommend this home. The deck is so awesome I could spend hours out there. There are lots of activities near by also.

Family snow vacation

This property was perfect for our large family of all ages! Russell thought of everything and we loved our stay! Access to ski lifts and Main Street was very convenient. Everything about our stay was great. The house is beautiful, large, well located, extremely clean, and very well equipped.The air hockey and foosball tables were especially fun for our kids. Great rental for family vacation

The owner was very easy to get ahold of and the house is setup perfect for a VRBO rental. The house is gorgeous with a short drive to downtown Breckenridge and the slopes. The entire house is labeled throughly so you will never have questions operating appliances, garage, fire places, AC, etc. I would definitely recommend staying here if you visit Breckenridge.

Perfect Colorado Christmas

We spent 5 nights, including Christmas, with 3 generations, ranging in age from 5-68. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was stocked well for the Chef we had come in one night. Excellent location...very convenient to shuttle that takes you the short mile to town and/or ski slopes. Kids had a ball playing in the snow at the house. Glove & boot drying rack in the garage was awesome. Owner was very helpful aiding with boxes I shipped for Christmas gifts. I'd highly recommend it for a family vacation.

Fully Stocked, Amazing House!

This house is fully stocked, crock pots, lemon squeezer, EVERYTHING! Best stocked house we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many! The house is beyond beautiful & the location is perfect for skiers! Garage is also amazing for skiers! Would recommend this home to everyone! Plenty of room for big families or friend gatherings. The home owner is wonderful and responds quickly to questions. Space heaters supplied if needed, my older in laws definitely made use of them & cool misters for the dry air! Honestly have no complaints!

Fabulous Thanksgiving with Family

Rivers Edge was a perfect place to celebrate a family Thanksgiving. The setting is picturesque. The house is beautiful, fully equipped and perfectly located for a walk or short drive or bus ride into town. After a day of skiing, the hot tub and fire pit on the deck were perfect places to relax. For some of us, playing games, doing puzzles and reading by the fireplaces were the best activities. Communication with the owner was great. We received a detailed Welcome Packet and list of recommended activities in advance. Russ checked in with us before, during and after our stay. Check in and check out were a breeze. We've had many VRBO stays and Rivers Edge is the best. We look forward to returning in the spring or fall.

Great for a Young Family

Our family rented this house on VRBO, and it turned out to be the perfect choice for our young family – aged 4 and 18 months. The .7 mile walk to the main street was a breeze, allowing us to explore Breck daily. Evenings were enjoyed by the fire pit on the deck, and the kids couldn’t get enough of the backyard, which has private access to a river. The owners quick and helpful responses were much appreciated as we had many questions. Would absolutely love to stay here again.

Amazing host and house with a perfect location

If I could give 10 stars out of 5, I would. There was not a thing wrong with this house and was more amazing than we ever could have imagined. After having another house cancel on us last minute, the host made everything seamless and help get us back to having a perfect vacation. The house was more than roomy enough for our 14 people, and allowed us to all be comfortable without being cramped. Easy access to town with the bus a very quick walk away. The garage had a nice set up for boot, glove and ski storage. Will definitely be looking this place up for any future trips.

Great home base at Breckenridge

The house was clearly well maintained and everything was in working order. The house is a short drive from town and the lifts, and the shuttle stop is close. We had a great time!

Family Christmas in Breck

We celebrated Christmas in Breck and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! There was plenty of room for everyone, it’s close to downtown and had everything you would need! Our group had 4 kiddos and they thought the bunk beds were awesome! The grown ups thought the fireplaces, TV’s and the fridge that makes coffee were so cool. We will definitely be coming back!

Amazing, relaxing experience at lovely Breckinridge riverfront home.

Everything from checkin to checkout was seamless. Great host. Great home. Amazing location. Can’t think of one thing negative. Will go back to this home for future summer Breckinridge stays.
