If you’d like to explore the area from the countryside, you can visit the bike rental shop 400 meters away. Numerous bike and hiking trails offer nature lovers plenty of opportunities to explore the Schaabe, the Wittow Peninsula, Cape Arkona, and the fishing village of Vitt. A playground is located in the immediate vicinity. About 2 km away in Altenkirchen, you’ll find a Netto, the “Stolz” department store, an Edeka, and a beverage store. Restaurants and bike rentals are nearby. The Breeger Harbor, about 900 meters away, offers boat excursions to the island of Hiddensee, Bodden cruises, crane-watching tours, and trips to the Störtebeker Festival. There is also a sailing school in the seaside resort. Pets allowed by arrangement (fee: 5 euros per pet per day; a maximum of 2 dogs allowed)
