”Good news, they welcome pets and only charge $20 per. Bad news, the room REEKED of cat urine. I wouldn’t think of sitting on the sofa. It did not look clean and probably was the source of the smell.. The bed was clean and comfortable, and overall the room was in pretty good shape. But they definitely need to do something about the cat odor.”

”This inn has basic services and works well for an overnight stay. Excellent pizza restaurant within a walking distance.”

”Jim welcomed us and checked us in. Our room was lovely. If you’re planning a long stay, note that there is no dresser or draws. A huge closet with ironing board and luggage racks. Lots of hangers too. It’s 1 block from the Main Street. Parking is in the rear behind the garden. We didn’t see Jim again until breakfast which is at 9am. You get a menu of 2 choices for breakfast the night before ”

”Right from the 3:00 pm check in point, the whole trip was a disaster. First no one is at the desk, you have to ring a bell and wait, then we were told our room wasn't ready, it would be another half hour, then there was no cart to bring our baggage in because there was only one and apparently someone had it in there room. When we got to our suite, the floors were dirty, the sofa bed had no mattress so was impossible to even sit on and when we started to pull it out, the dirt under the sofa had...

”This is a traditional hunting & fishing lodge environment. Nothing fancy for sure, but it's clean and neat. Fine for a short term stay. No amenities. Half the price of the hotels closer to downtown.”

”Pubes in the sink. A/C blowing out heat, then the thermostat actually fell out of it. A dead room phone, shower/water handle came off, ice cube tray looked like an ash tray. Fridge & microwave from 1978. Restaurant is no longer on site. Homeless, sketchy looking people living there. The school bus actually picks up their kids there. No pool. No ice machine and it smells like wet dogs & dope! We will NOT be going back. Waste of money!!!! Didnt bother with the "breakfast" didnt want to risk it....

”This place was delightful! Hot tub was great, the game room was super fun, and the kitchen was perfect for cooking up big meals! The beds were comfortable, and the sheets were super soft. The rain shower in the downstairs bathroom was a nice treat. The only question we had was about turning up the game room heat, and the owner came down himself, right away, and adjusted it himself. Can't wait to visit again. Maybe in the summer when all of the fun of the lake is bustling.”
