The surrounding countryside provides numerous walks suitable for all ages and the property\'s incredible views extend from the hills of Gorjanci to the Krka River across grapevines and chestnut forests.

Ideally set up for outside living the property enjoys a covered terrace with an open fireplace where guests can prepare their own food and a balcony with outside seating providing the ideal look-out. Inside this traditional chalet-style house is arranged over two floors and finished with wood-panelled walls, floors and ceilings.

An extensive, built-in dining table and seating area provides guests with a comfortable social hub, perfect for mealtimes or relaxing with a drink at the end of the day. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with; a cooker hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge freezer and for those wanting to experience the spirit of old times, a traditional bread oven which guests can light themselves, adding extra warmth and cosiness.

Location

The property is located on Sleme Hill in the eastern part of Slovenia, in the region of Styria (Štajerska). The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and nature walks and the Brežice mountain trail (Sveti Vid – Veliki Cirnik) passes nearby. The nearby Krka and Sava Rivers are also popular for fishing and canoeing, those in search of a little adventure will enjoy the Brezice Sava Rapids which is a 15-minute drive away.

The region is known for its vineyards and wine production, with many local wineries and wine cellars offering tastings and tours – the Gadova Peč winery is a 15-minute drive away.

Other popular excursions include a trip to the historic town of Brežice (a 13-minute drive) where guests can visit Brezice Castle, a Renaissance-era fortress that houses the Posavje Museum, or a trip to the thermal spas of Terme Čatež.
