”My granddaughter, husband and infant daughter stayed in the cottage. They like it very much, and we would like to rent it for the same time period in 2026.”

The beds were very comfortable with nice linens and there were plenty of bath towels. The owners were always quick to respond to any question. We would definitely stay there again. ”

”This Vrbo has been housing people since the 1960's, and we're so glad to be a part of this place's history It is truly a timeless home within a beautiful area with great outdoor activites, generous people and good food (we recommend The Hatchery). Both showers (the top floor shower and the middle floor) did have a leak, but our hosts responded quickly to our concerns and addressed them within a timely manner :) ”

”We loved this house! Perfect for our family of 4 summer time getaway. Short (minutes) drive to restaurants, hikes, Killington Mountain. We loved the hot tub and outdoor fireplace. Vacasa was easily accessible and responsive via text. The house is close to a main road so there is some noise, but it didn’t bother us - the property is nicely tucked away and we use white noise for sleeping. The house was stocked with fun games for the kids, and the hot tub/fireplace/deck was were we spent most of...

”Nice place overall and a very convenient location. Property was very clean and well equipped for a weekend stay of 4-5 people. The village of Quechee is very cute. Only thing to be aware of is the spiral stairs which could be tricky for people with limited mobility.”

”We had a great time at the lake house! Kids, ages 5 & 9, loved fishing and jumping in the water off the dock. Kayaks & canoe were so nice to have, we loved taking them out on the lake. ”This house is lovely, peaceful, and secluded. It’s a wonderful place to stay if you want to enjoy nature and explore the surrounding area. The only thing I would say as a word of caution: this house is not a great choice for people with very small kids or older folks. The staircase up to the bedrooms is not for the faint of heart! Also, if you are very tall, you might knock your head (a lot) on the ceiling upstairs. Besides those two caveats, this house was a lovely stay. ”
