”My partner and I stayed here, on number of occasions, and have never been disappointed. The hotel is clean, and quiet. The staff is always friendly. We also enjoy the breakfast, which is plentiful.”

”Nice view from room. Need to update chairs in room. Add more comfortable chairs and decorate, paint and just make it look more inviting. Paint was new but it needed to be scraped and repainted as it was lifting off. I know this sounds petty but it is such a nice place and just up grading would make a huge difference. Water bottles, things to do in area, just some interesting touches and this would be a five star.”

”Room was suitably clean, staff answered the needs, breakfast was good, didn't run the a/c. But we needed to ask for an extra towel for washing hair & the sliding door from our room to the adjacent parking was very hard to open. Wouldn't roll freely at all.”

”Our stay was good. Sad to say, our bed looked like it had just been remade after the last guest. Our top cover had stains on it, and our sheets did not look clean. When I woke up in the morning to leave, I always take the sheets off the bed to help with housekeeping. Our bedroom sink was clogged, and water did not go down after I used the sink. Without all this, sleep was good. I did not hear any noise from other guests in their rooms or outside. The front desk lady was very nice, the parking...

”Very occasionally you come across a special place that will stay with you forever. Saucy Willow is that. Beautiful setting and gardens, house that is tastefully and lovingly renovated. The rooms are great, super comfy beds, powerful shower, fridge. Breakfast was plentiful and filled us up (thanks Dave for packaging scones for us to take away). All the small touches show the care that Stephanie and Dave have for their guests - a fire by the river in the evening, beach towels for after swimming,...

”The staff were very friendly and made check in very easy. The hotel is very clean, and so was the room. The bed was comfortable, and the noise from other guests was very minimal. The pool looked clean, but we didn't use it. Breakfast was lovely. A nice assortment with a friendly person keeping the area clean. We will be back!”

”Loved everything! Never done B&B and I think I was spoiled. Spacious room, Nice bed, pillows, lighting, t.v, jacuzzi tub, or shower and an eclectic mix of items and paintings/photos to look at. Also you will not get breakfast like that at a hotel. Served when YOU are ready to eat. My kind of place. Martin and Petra are kind and direct hosts. If they were all like this I would NEVER stay in a hotel again.”

”Super easy check-in and check-out with a code sent to your phone in advance. The only issue was the neighbours, who apparently needed to have a screaming match at all hours of the night. Couldn't have been controlled by the hotel staff, so not their fault. Luckily, I had earplugs, so it wasn't much of an issue.”
