Sherwood Chateau commemorates the legendary friendship between Robin Hood and King Richard the Lionhearted. It combines the allure of the forest with luxury fit for a king!

Crave privacy and serenity? Nearly 1,000 sq feet of covered deck towers 20 feet over the forest floor! You feel as if you are perched in a treehouse, listening to the birds sing and watching the deer graze.

Step inside and be greeted by a 20 ft. rock fireplace and cathedral pine ceilings that bring the majesty of the forest indoors. Burnt-pine floors and rich granite countertops create a uniquely natural and elegant atmosphere. Look out virtually any window, and you’ll see butterfly and hummingbird gardens that offer something beautiful in all seasons of the year.

4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. Each of the four bedrooms features its own private en-suite bathroom, offering comfort and convenience for every guest. All four suites include luxurious King bedding, with unique features throughout. The spacious Primary Suite includes a spa-like bathroom with a soaking tub and oversized walk-in shower. Another downstairs King Suite also includes a full-size futon and a private bath with a beautiful shower and full laundry facilities. Upstairs, one King Suite features its own bathroom with a convenient tub/shower combination and an additional washer/dryer setup—perfect for larger groups. The upstairs bunk room has a flexible layout, sleeping up to six on single bunks or converting to one King bed and four singles, and also includes its own private en-suite bathroom. For additional sleeping space, the den offers two queen sleeper sofas.

Pack'n play, hi chair, port-a-crib, baby gate, books, games, and toys are all provided for the kids.

A fully equipped, gourmet kitchen and dining room comfortably accommodate eight at the table and three at the granite breakfast bar. The gas grill and dining area on the huge deck seats 10 adults and 4 young children. Fun features are not confined to one game room or play area, but are scattered throughout, inside and out. There are board games, an arcade game, shuffleboard, horseshoes, a jungle gym, a saucer swing, and Tarzan swings, as well as baby and kid swings. Plus, there’s a huge, level play area of pea gravel for digging toys or throwing the ball around.

But don’t forget adventure! Our secluded, private cabin backs up to the national forest and is a stone’s throw from Beaver’s Bend State Park. Walk into the forest, and you will stumble upon a babbling brook that the locals call Carson Creek. Walk a mere half-mile to the closest edge of Lake Broken Bow. By car, it’s a five-minute drive to picnic, swim, fish, or put in your boat on the lake! A ten-minute drive brings you to the Mountain Fork River, stocked with trout all year round! And then there is the Beaver’s Bend train Depot for the little ones and trail riding for those a bit older. Return after your adventure to relax in the 7-person hot tub. If you prefer to dine out, you are only a few minutes’ drive from all the restaurants and attractions Hochatown has to offer.

Ample on-site parking can accommodate multiple cars and a boat trailer.
