In the southeast corner Oklahoma, north of Broken Bow, you’ll find a little slice of heaven in McCurtain County among the majestic pine trees of the Ouachita Forest.

The luxury rental cabins found in the Beaver’s Bend and Hochatown area are surrounded by beautiful scenery and a wide variety of outdoor activities to enjoy during your vacation. Broken Bow Lake is the perfect way to spend your day.

Sweet Magnolia will welcome you with a very large open layout featuring living, kitchen and dining area. Plenty of seating for everyone to sit around the fireplace making memories. Located on one side of the property is a half bath for guest, private area for furry friends kennel room, large bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite. Our ensuite features a large walk in rain fall shower. The opposite end of the house features a private office space, just in case you have to work while on vacation or need an extended stay. The 2nd master is on this side as well with a king size bed and ensuite. The back door leads you to a large deck with forest views surrounding you. You will find a large hot tub, cozy up by the fireplace or enjoying dining outside while you watch your favorite game on the tv. Just off the deck you will find the separate 3rd room. Its time for fun as you enter the large game area, featuring foosball, air hockey, mini fridge, game table, board games or maybe chill on the couch for a movie. When its time to call it a night you will have 2 bunks with queen over queen beds. Attached to the 3rd room is a beautiful bathroom with a large soaking tub/shower combo. Sweet Magnolia also has a fire pit for those late night stories or some yummy marshmallow roasting.

***Some Cabins are pet friendly with prior approval***
With this being said in order to bring a pet you must contact us directly, we will then approve or disapprove. This is due to pet owners taking advantage of an open pet policy. Our pet guideline include
-No pets over 25 lbs (Limit 1 pet)
-No pets on furniture or bedding (This will result in an added cleaning fee of $100)
-You must pick up your dogs waste (we don't want to smell it or step in it)
-Fees apply to bring your pet (Mandatory cleaning fee as well as a deposit)

Just some cleaning issues. On the inside overall house was clean just some things were missed. Hot tub was the dirtiest part. When jets came on water skim came out and water was off color. Overall other than the small issues it was a pretty cabin and had no other issues.

Fall Break

Property was overall nice... I didn't feel like it was abundantly clear that the bunk room was not connected to the house from the inside at all. We were traveling with a 4yo but thankfully there were older siblings to help her get in the house in the morning. But I wouldn't recommend for families with younger children. Property was clean and all the beds were very comfortable. I didn't have to contact the host for any problems but they seemed to be available if needed.

Great location and layout

This was our second stay at Sweet Magnolia and it's my favorite cabin in Hochatown. The location is convenient to restaurants and local attractions, but it's still quiet and peaceful despite being close to everything. The layout of the cabin is awesome if you're bringing older kids and teens--the separate bunk room ensures that everyone has their own space. I brought my 13yo daughter and three of her friends for the weekend, and they had a blast. The cabin is clean and spacious, with ample indoor and outdoor space to hang out and relax. The owners are responsive--for example, they added wine glasses in the kitchen and towel hooks in the bathrooms based on past reviews. The cabin has just about everything you need for a comfortable stay--kitchen basics, laundry supplies, bath products. All we had to bring were groceries and firewood. Also, after we booked, the cabin offered add-ons like a birthday package, charcuterie board, movie night package, and even firewood delivery. We didn't take advantage, but it was nice to have that option and we will keep it in mind for a future special occasion. Highly recommend this place, and I'm sure we will book again!

Gorgeous new cabin, great for families!

This cabin is fairly new, easy to access, and absolutely gorgeous inside. It was extremely clean upon arrival and appointed very nicely. Beds were super comfy. The biggest delight was the bunk room--we didn't realize it was an entire separate space from the main cabin and had an exterior door entrance from the porch. This was a huge bonus for adults AND kids. The kids loved playing games and hanging out in their own space, and the adults enjoyed the separation and privacy in the main cabin. Another highlight were the spacious showers with spa-like rainfall shower heads. The hot tub was clean and already heated up so we could jump right in and relax as soon as we arrived. The indoor & outdoor fireplaces were easy to use (remote control) and were a favorite spot to gather. The location of the cabin is convenient to everything you might want to do in Hochatown. The neighborhood is still being developed, and most of the time it was incredibly peaceful and quiet. The neighboring cabin-goers played loud music that carried through the woods both nights we were there, but you could not see them; it still felt private on the amazing back porch. Other than that, the only minor inconveniences were that there were no towel hooks anywhere to hang wet towels in the bathroom, no wine glasses (we had to use water glasses), and inadequate pots and pans for cooking for a large group. We made it work, though, and had the best time. We would definitely rent this cabin again! Highly recommend.
