Wilderness Retreat - "Villi elämä" on mielentila

Wilderness Retreat on tilava 1600 neliön mökki, joka on katettu Carson Creek -alueelta lähellä Broken Bow -järveä ja Beavers Bend Resort -puistoa. Ympäröivä kuisti ja peitetty kannen alue auttavat kävijöitä nauttimaan viehättävistä maisemista, joita vain tämä alue voi tarjota.

Avoin pohjaratkaisu mahdollistaa suuret kokoontumiset olohuoneessa nauttiaksesi elokuvasta kaasulämmitteisen takan ympärillä tai istua keittiön suurella saarella suosikkiateriasi valmistellessasi. Keittiö on täysin varustettu ruokia, astiat, tehosekoitin, leivänpaahdin ja kahvinkeitin niille varhaisille nouseville. Käytettävissäsi on myös täysikokoinen pesukone ja kuivausrumpu.

Mökin 1. ja 2. tasolla on kaksi makuuhuonetta, joissa queen-size-vuoteet. Kullakin tasolla on myös kaksi täyttä käytäväkylpyä, jotka ovat kätevästi vieraiden käyttöön. Parvella / pelihuoneessa on täysikokoinen parivuode, jossa kaksi erillistä kerrossänkyä, ja olohuoneessa vuodesohva (sopii vain lapsille).

The cabin was nice not very far from town. It is hard to find with GPS but the host answered right away and gave better directions to cabin. The host answered right away with most issues. The hot tub was hot but smelled a little funny. I’d maybe leave a jar of chlorine on site to add to water with each use. We stayed at a cabin last year there and that’s what they did kept water cleaner. Over all nice cabin close to most things and family loved the pool table.

Family weekend

Property was tricky to find, address did not match where the house was located. Had to call the property manager and he stayed on the phone until we found the house. You could hear road noise, but brought a small fan to drown out the noise. Does not have gas grill that is pictured. Floors were clean looking but our white socks turned very brown by the end of the first night. Beds are so soft you sink into the middle of the bed, not a ton of cooking essentials. Most of the pans the Teflon was major scratched from metal utensils. Making cooking challenging, unless you’re ok with using them. You also need to purchase firewood if using the fire pit.

Great cabin

This was a great cabin for our family. It is not as new and modern as some of the others in broken Bow that we have stayed in but it was nice for the price. We did have a little difficulty finding the property but did eventually get there. Turn by turn instructions would have been helpful. once you get near the cabin all signal is gone.

This cabin could be a very nice place, but it needs some maintenance and upkeep. The mattresses need to be replaced. They sink down in the middle. The buttons to operate the coffee pot and the dishwasher are worn out. The AC felt like it was struggling to keep the cabin cool. Everything there to play ping pong except the ping pong ball…all the skillets are scratched really bad and not worth using. Tree limbs hanging really low right where you park need to be trimmed. The doors leading to the porches (the side door and front door) needed to be wiped down - especially the side door was filthy. There was just too much to list it all. For the price, I was definitely disappointed. About the only thing good was the location. It’s very convenient to everything. We’ll pick a different cabin next time.

Was excited about all the games with kids unfortunately the games were missing things even the dominoes werent a complete set pool table pocket was broken ping pong was a no due to being broke as well outside of that the house and everything was great ! Loved the amount of towels provided

Wilderness Retreat needs a new name.

Pros- Plenty of Space and rooms inside cabin, Firepit is relaxing but beware within 10ft a very large propane tank, Pillows were very soft. TV in living room has plenty of options and DVDplayer. Cons- Hot tubs jets & lights do not work. Wrap around porch doesnt have chairs or seating. Coffee pot button worn off. Kitchen sink sprayer broken, downstairs bedroom bed is very uncomfortable, Not secluded to have much privacy and feel like your in the woods or wilderness. Huge bowling alley directly behind the cabin, You can hear cars and trucks driving on the highway/main road all night. And you are surrounded by other people/ cabins. There arent rocking chairs downstairs which are in photos, etc. The downstairs bathrub drain plug is also broeken so you cant have a bath if wanted. Kitchen microwave above stove is broken including fan and lighting. Only 3 chairs provided by the outdoor fiepit. And lastly all the kitchenware is very old worn-out and not much to work with.

Very nice

Cabin was nice and the perfect size for our family of 6. Only issue was there was no gas grill as it showed on the picture so we had to go buy charcoal. Communication from host was good. Would stay there again.

Everything was broken

At first the property was great until you looked closer. The hot tub was broken we could not utilize it, the upstairs bathroom fan was broke, we were short supplies to last for a week. We ran out of toilet paper and trash sacks. When walking in the floors weren’t clean either. Lots of dirty upon arrival. Had to mop the floors ourselves because it was turning our feet black. Also the security was questionable as the doors were not secure by the frame well. A lot of the tiles were broken as well so you had to watch where you stepped. We visit broken bow pretty often and this cabin was by far the worst. Hopefully it’s cleaned better for the next person. Also we booked a cabin that was supposed to have a king in one room and that was not the case. Also a gas grill was advertised and there was NOT one on the property. Very disappointing.

Other than sending us to the wrong address, it was a great stay

All of our confirmation emails and the address for the on the website had the wrong physical address. Trying to get to our cabin was not fun. Driving around in the dark and having our phones take us to the wrong place because we had the wrong address was not a fun start to our vacation. After calling and getting told over the phone how to get to the cabin, we finally arrived. The cabin was great. Very comfy and just as dedcribed on the site. The WiFi didn't work for a few days but we managed. We also couldn't enjoy the firepit because the smell of the septic tank was unbearable! This was a bummer because we bought wood and looked forward to roasting marshmallows and sitting by the fire. Overall though the cabin was nice and we enjoyed the beautiful little town and the restaurants that we visited.

Mediocre at best!

We were quite disappointed. Things are very dated. A lot of kitchen things need to be replaced. There was nothing but a small swing to sit on the big wrap around deck/porch. There are four Adirondack chairs around fire pit. Two of them very rickety. And a rickety picnic table. Quite a few light bulbs in house needed replacing. The hot tub is in bad need of being replaced. Badly needed chemicals, we only got in once. Matters on main floor needs to be replaced, it sinks in middle. I use VRBO all the time and this is the first time I was very disappointed.

Dad's Excursion

Its been many years since my parents have been able to get away due to my dads health. It was fantatic place with plenty of room for him to get around with his cane or walker. The pool table was great for my husband and kids when it was raining and had down time.

Nice for the price

Very quaint cabin. Really close to bowling alley and main Rd so if noise bothers you it might be an issue but everything worked and was advertised. Pool table needs to be redone and ping pong table doesn't work. Everything was clean and owners were very responsive. Be very careful when getting out of hot tub though, had 3 people slip and fall and one of them could have been really bad but we got lucky.
