”A very cosy little house. It is in a great location for the North Bay end of Scarborough which is where we wanted to be. It is a short 10 minute walk through a small housing estate down a hill and you are on the beach. The house is really well equipped, with loads of kitchen utensils, it has wifi, a comfy bed, a brand new bathroom, two parking spaces and even a hairdryer. I would definitely recommend”

”Gingerbread cottage was a lovely cottage it had everything you needed. However the bay was rather lacking in things for the children to do. For the size of the place the play park was disappointing. The children loved the swimming pool but apart from that there was nothing for them to do. I found it very tired and in need of some upgrading. It felt more like a retirement village than a holiday park.”

”My only gripe isn’t the cottage owners fault but that of hotels.com as this properly was listed as reserve now pay on arrival but the money left my account within seconds of booking. Hotels.com excused this by saying it’s in the terms and conditions but don’t advertise as such!
The cottage itself is lovely, very off road location and I was worried about my tyres on the way there but all was fine.
The farmers next door are lovely and their farm dogs were friendly and curious. Our poodle...

”The apartment was furnished and decorated to a very high spec with lots of tech gadgets. Cooling fans in all the rooms and plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances of good quality.
The bed which was high end with a Tempur mattress was firm. It might suit some guests but for us it was too firm. A few too many air fresheners! We are sorry to say that the sofas weren’t comfy in particular the sofa bed again too firm even though we appreciated they were of a high standard being Italian leather.”

”Our stay at the Scarborough penthouse recently was brilliant. We went for my birthday and it couldn’t have been more special, easy to find and parking just outside. On arrival we took the lift and it opens up straight into the apartment giving it a very classy feel. The lovely open plan living room and kitchen was very clean and comfortable. The two bedrooms were large and beautifully set out. The best bit for us was the balcony with seating area and sea view. Overall all had a fantastic stay....

”Beautifully decorated home. Spotlessly clean and a perfect location for the beach! All the little things had been thought of. The beds were very comfortable and it really felt like a home from home - we would definitely choose baileys beach house again! My daughter especially loved Steven the seagull!
Ps. Just a few stained cups that possibly need replacing.”
