”Our family of 4 (kids are 7 and 9) had the most fantastic stay at Elve Huset! The property is incredible. Surrounded by trees, wildlife, and a quick, rocky walk down to the Smith River (cleanest in the country, arguably the world!). When we weren't out exploring, we lived in the backyard. I loved reading with my coffee in the early morning hours in the swing or on the deck, complete with sounds of the river rushing by and jays pestering me for peanuts. We spent many evenings sitting on the rocks...

”The house was clean and had everything we needed to be able to cook meals at the property. It was so close to the spots we wanted to go. It had a hose connected outside so we could spray off our sandy feet and shoes before going inside. Check in and out instructions were clear and they gave good directions so we could find the lane quickly. ”

”The bed wasn’t that loud in our opinion. The whole place did smell really strongly like dog pee which was difficult at times to handle but we will just not choose a dog friendly spot next time. We would’ve liked a bit more information on check out responsibilities like where to put towels and trash. The hot tub was over-chlorinated but still a great way to spend the evenings and the privacy fence is really great. Overall we loved the place and it’s location!”

”Our family of three -- wife, son, me -- plus our dog stayed a night here on a trip down the pacific coast. Great little place a short walk from an easily-accessed beach that was never crowded and great for dog-walking. Hot tub was a nice addition. Main bedroom was comfortable and the upstairs bedroom was nice for our son.Food can be found about 5-10 minutes in either direction, possibly closer. There's a nice town about ten minutes north, into Oregon, that has a fine selection of restaurants...

”Cute little place, clean, pretty view, kinda close to the hwy so there’s some road noise, clean hot tub that worked and stayed warm while using. Only complaint was there’s less than 10mins of hot water for showers and the shower door magnet didn’t latch so water got all over the floor and toilet. Other than that the place was great! Would stay at it again! ”
