”We just spent Friday and Saturday nights at the Boston Marriot in Peabody MA to attend a Saturday evening wedding in Beverly. Our room was sufficiently clean and the king size bed was comfortable. We checked in Friday afternoon and were out for the evening. Upon returning we attempted to adjust the A/C and did not feel that it was cool enough but retired for the night. ”Negatives: no free coffee in lobby. This should be standard. Furniture in tv area of lobby was in really rough shape. Bathroom in our room needs refresher; it was a bit shabby. Positives: nice pool, helpful staff, tons of nearby shopping. Easy to park.”

”Cute little lodge . The front desk is open only 9 to 5. Provisions are made for coming and going after hours. Parking is directly behind the building. Free 8pm to 8am . 50 cents an hour otherwise. Easy to pay with app. Location is convenient for theaters and restaurants. You can walk everywhere. Hotels in this area are very high priced and this one is no exception, but a little less than the big chains. We therefore chose the least expensive room with a king bed as we were staying only 1 night...

”The hotel is under renovations and it does not tell you that anywhere before booking. The AC was effected because of this. The pool and public restrooms in the lobby were closed because of it. The lobby is torn up due to the renovations. The outside of the building was a mess due to the renovations. We got a nail in the tire of our rental car because of the outside work.
