”This hotel was clean and perfect location to walk to the Mackinaw Island Ferry. It was on the main street so you could walk to resturants. The staff were available when needed.”

”The room was clean. There was no microwave but everything else was perfect. Loved the extra towels.”

”Worst stay ever. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the heater was not working properly. Despite the cold weather, the room never got warm enough, making the stay very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the shower curtain and curtain rod were already broken when we arrived, which showed a lack of maintenance and attention to basic room upkeep. Overall, the hotel did not meet even basic expectations for comfort and cleanliness. I would not stay here again.”

”Property was unique. Very old and historic and well maintained. Location is excellent, one block from Traverse bay and Bay shore drive which is a lovely walk on the waterfront with beautiful homes. Location is also close to town with excellent restaurants and shopping. breakfast was great with a great selection of hot foods, fruit and pastries We originally booked a room on the east wing but on arrival the room was found to have a terrible musty odor,such that we couldn’t stay in it....

”The room was clean. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was good. if you’re bothered by traffic noise, you may want to ask to be on the other side of the hotel.”

”If you need a place to lay your head…not too terrible. Theres a Walmart, a cute coffee shop and good restaurants. But if you’re looking for quality, cleanliness or the feeling of privacy, it’s not great. Staff was helpful though. ”

”Clean and cozy! Loved the vibe inside, plus totally walkable to the main strip, Shepler’s ferry, and any of the local restaurants. Check-in/out was remote too, no hassle or worry at any point. Price is super fair for a simple little place to stay!”

”Old motor lodge that has been updated. Its clean, basic motel. Tight.parking but plenty of it. Pool and hot tub worked as promised. Friendly dog at the desk too!”

”The photos are deceiving. It looks like a well maintained hotel however, it is an old motel with alot of outside, outdated stairs that the wood was split on the treads, railings we shaky and it was difficult to get luggage up to the room. When I got there the TV didn't work, they told me that they thought all of the TV's had been switched out and the RCA TV's didn't work with the new cable they had, they didn't have cable, they had Antenna TV. We had 15 stations and at least 5 were Spanish TV...

”Staff were nice. Pool area were basically deserted and most of the slides were gone. Pool wasn’t shocked and caused my children to get sick.”

”It was a great place to stay and so well decorated. I used the fair themed reading nook and it was so peaceful and relaxing! I loved having hot water and coffer accessible 24/7.”

”Not what pictures portray. Living in Michigan my entire life I think all of mackinaw city has depleted in cleanliness and price gauging. We booked a “superior room” which means nothing like the photos. We were told it’s just a standard queen with a water view balcony. The room was so dirty.. mold in the shower on the ceilings, stains on the sheets, filthy lampshades. The lady at the front desk was as nice as she could be and the manager moved us over one room.. slight cleanliness improvement as...

”Very friendly, quiet and good location”

”Ashley assisted us at check-in and was very helpful with suggestions for ferry ride to Mackinac Island and deal to leave our car parked at the Days Inn while we were on the island. The next morning Lisa assisted us in finalizing arrangements for ferry ride and leaving our car at the motel while we were on the Island. I give both of these gals an A+ Mary ellen”
