  • Nestled atop a scenic mountainside, Bear Walk offers an exceptional cabin retreat with breathtaking panoramic mountain views. Conveniently located just minutes from Bryson City's dining and attractions, this three-bedroom, two-bathroom residence comfortably accommodates up to eight guests. The fully equipped kitchen provides all the necessary amenities for preparing meals, while the expansive deck offers an ideal setting to appreciate the stunning views. After a day of exploration, guests can unwind in the private hot tub. Bear Walk promises an unforgettable and memorable experience.

    Location: Lower Alarka, Bryson City- All Vehicle accessible, excluding Motorcycles.
    o 15 minutes to Bryson City
    o 25 minutes to Cherokee’s Harrah Casino
    o 15 minutes to Great Smoky Mountain Railroad
    o 25 minutes to Nantahala Outdoor Center
    o 1 hour 30 minutes from Gatlinburg
    o 1 hour 30 minutes from Asheville

    Amenities Provided: Cabins include basic linens, kitchenware, and a starter supply of paper products and toiletries. Guests are responsible for additional supplies.

    o Minimum Age: Minimum age to rent is 25
    o Pet Policy: This cabin is not pet-friendly. Undisclosed or unauthorized pets are subject to a $300 fee, per pet.
    o Wi-Fi: This cabin includes Wi-Fi for your convenience. Please keep in mind that mountain weather can occasionally cause brief service interruptions. Wi-Fi is always available at our office and throughout downtown.
    o Concierge Services: Grocery delivery, celebration packages, early check in/late check out. Additional fees apply. Based on availability and cleaning schedule.

Our stay at this rental went above and beyond expectations. The beds were extremely comfortable, the house was very clean and well appointed. The hot-tub was fantastic and located perfectly on the back deck to take in the amazing view. The view was the pinnacle of our stay and couldn't have been better. Communication with the host was prompt. We will be back.

Beautiful House and Amazing View

We all had a wonderful stay here! The home was super clean and so many little touches made our stay just perfect. The hot tub was huge and clean, and being in the screened in porch was a great idea to keep the bugs away. We loved sitting in the chairs looking out at the incredible view! Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us :)

Bear Walk cabin

Very clean! Easy to get to and was easily accessible to Bryson City and Cherokee. All check in and check out directions were very detailed and easy to follow. Loved every minute. Enjoyed the hot tub in the middle of a thunderstorm!

Loved our stay!

Such beautiful property! Had everything we needed for our short stay. It was one of the most peaceful / uneventful vacations we have ever had. Afternoons in the hot tub, grilling dinner outside, evenings relaxing on the deck listening to the owls and whippoorwills. The sunsets are AMAZING! Would recommend to anyone wanting a mountain getaway. We will be back!

Million dollar view

Private mountaintop location with breathtaking view and beautiful paved access road (single track and pretty steep, but easily manageable in regular car, even in hard rain). Comfortably furnished with reasonably equipped kitchen. AC and Wi-Fi both really good and spa was squeaky clean. Not near enough to dent my 5-star rating, but bring your own pillows (really) and earplugs for the master bedroom (there’s a really loud water pump mounted inches away from your head that runs intermittently throughout the night).

After 4 days that i did check it out they said we will send someone to fix heather !!! Seriously ? We all got cold ! My lawyer will contact you guys ! You need to refund all my money

Awesome views!

Overall, our stay was wonderful. We never made use of the fireplace or heater in the basement. Cell service and Wi-Fi worked great. Very well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of towels for the 6 of us. For us, I'd say the only negative was that the basement toilet seat was broken when we arrived. I emailed the realtor both Thursday and Friday, but got no response. I probably should have called, but oh well. The seat would move around when you tried to sit on the toilet, and that meant that we ended up sharing 1 toilet for 5 people. Not the end of the world. We had a wonderful trip!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The directions to the house weren't great. There was no sign and we weren't given the house number. It almost to the top of a narrow and windy road so it was difficult to turn around once we passed it. The layout was odd. The bedrooms were all on different levels. I don't think the description mentioned that. It wasn't very conducive to family time. The bedroom upstairs was a loft and they had to use the bathroom downstairs which was directly off the kitchen. It wasn't very appetizing to look at the toilet from the kitchen. We had to unload the dishwasher when we got there and the tables weren't clean. The furniture was old and uncomfortable. But, the view was great and we spent most of our time on the deck, which was pretty small. The view from the living room is blocked by the fireplace. For the price of this house, it wasn't great. Overall, it was comfortable but just OK.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a very nice cabin that was easy to get to with paved roads. The views were amazing and the fire pit was great! The hot tub was also very nice. The 3 bedrooms were comfortable as was the rest of the cabin. We met both neighbors who were also very friendly. The location was very convenient to many of the Bryson City area attractions. I would highly recommend this cabin and we had a great stay!

They even thought of the doggies! The view of the mountains is spectacular. We loved sitting in the new hot tub, which is screened in, so no mosquitoes bothering your relaxing time. We would definitely stay here again.
