Cabin on Nantahala River with Hot tub

Welcome to the little cabin on the river. This unique and beautiful 1800's newly built cabin/house has wonderful views from all rooms on the Nantahala River. Set in the Nantahala National Forest. The river is popular for rafting, kayaking and trout fishing, mountain biking, and so much more. 300 Mystic River is mins from Bryson City, Great Smokey Mountain Railroad, Tail of the Dragon, and more. Also, only 50 mins from the Cherokee Harrah's Casino.

This house sleeps 6 adults comfortably with each room having king beds. Fully stocked kitchen and the great room that features a cozy old fashion fire stove 30 plus ft ceiling with 1800's old Amish oak barn timbers lighting, hardwoods throughout out, and Satellite TV. The views from the house and back patio will instantly go to relax all your senses and transport you into a state all euphoria for both the mind and soul! Imagine any evening in the hot tub or relaxing on the patio couch and outdoor fire pit or having a real cozy fire in the pit and roasting marshmallows. Just feet from the river. The large back patio and side porch are unbelievable for enjoying nature at its best and not to mention the sounds of the river!

*Please note there will be a Siren Test conducted for Queens Hydro Plant which is a lake up above the cabin on April 8th, July 8th, and October 14th. They are testing the warning siren in case there is a breach in the dam.

Beautiful, spacious cabin on the banks of the Nantahala River rapids. Absolutely unbelievable location in a private gated community. David was responsive and helpful in preparing for our trip. We enjoyed rafting, steam train ride, and local fares in Bryson City and Robbinsville - both about 20 minutes away. The price point makes it a special event for us, but it was a great way to celebrate a family milestone.

Being so close to the river was an awesome experience. We rafted multiple days and got just as much enjoyment hanging out on the back porch watching others tackle the rapids directly in front of the house. Slice of Nantahala Heaven

This property is perfectly located for all hiking and waterfall access. Close to the smokey mountains for exploration and about 15/20 min from a grocery store. Being directly in the river makes all the difference. Having 3 master suites is more than what our family needed but perfect for group travel. Paved roads leading in and level ground that makes the yard safe for kids and pets. The owner was awesome and provided great communication. I'm looking forward to hearing back in the summer! You're right down the way from NOC- Nantahala Outdoor Center for all tubing, kayaking, and adventure needs. Don't hesitate... this is a very special find!

Simply AMAZING!

I can't express how wonderful this house and location are. Before our stay, I thought a bit about the cost for a weeks vacation here but hours in to our arrival, the value of this rose by the minute. This place is truly second to none and provides such a unique view of the water, location to anything you would want to do and we just happened to be there while the weather was absolutely PERECT! The only thing we hated was the day we had to leave. Do yourself a favor and book this place, you will NOT be disapointed.

Perfect Mountain Retreat on the River

Beautiful new home directly on the Nantahala River. Modern and clean, with a beautiful outdoor space, we enjoyed watching the kayaks and rafters moving down the river. The host was attentive and the home was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The home was in close proximity to the Nantahala Outdoor Center which was our home-base for rafting and zip-lining.

Absolute best place to stay on the Nantahala

My recent stay at this VRBO property on the Nantahala River was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene surroundings, spectacular sounds, and breathtaking views. The house itself was immaculate, well-appointed, and exuded a cozy yet luxurious charm that made us feel right at home. The interior of the house was very impressive. The open-concept living area was spacious and filled with natural light, offering unobstructed views of the river through large windows. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, and enjoy them on the spacious kitchen island or large table. Another highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the hot tub. Nestled on the deck with a perfect view of the river, it provided the ultimate relaxation experience. Soaking in the warm water while listening to the river was pure bliss. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful outdoors. The bedrooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated, providing a restful night's sleep with the soothing sound of the river in the background. The bathrooms were spotless and stocked with high-quality linens and toiletries, adding to the luxurious feel of the property. Location-wise, this VRBO couldn't be better. We enjoyed easy access to hiking trails, rafting companies (Nantahala Rafting with Fast Rivers about 1 mile away!), and the NOC only 8 minute drive away. Between the professionalism of the host, the beautiful cabin, and the stunning views of the Nantahala River - it would be hard to compete with this property - it has it all! I can’t wait to come back and visit this place in the future. 10/10!
