About this space
This newly remodeled cottage is perfectly located on the north bank side of Buckeye Lake just blocks off the water. You will enjoy quick and easy access to all the amenities and lakeside fun you could ever want.

Welcome to your stay at this nicely updated cottage that is centrally located in the Village of Buckeye Lake. When you arrive at this 2-lot property you will find a spacious driveway and a open lot that has ample parking for all your vehicles and even a boat or 2.
The front entrance welcomes you into a thoughtfully designed living space with updated furniture and amenities. Relax in the living room on the cozy leather sofa or 2 accent chairs. Enjoy your favorite entertainment on the Sony OLED TV equipped with a ROKU streaming player. The robust high speed internet is readily available for all your streaming and surfing needs.
Just off of the living room you will find 2 bedrooms outfitted with extremely comfortable queen size beds.
Just past the bedrooms you will find a full bath and a nicely equipped kitchen.
Next to the kitchen is the laundry room which houses a full washer and dryer.
Step out the backdoor into the privately fenced back yard. There you will find a covered and lighted deck with outdoor dining. There is also a very nice BBQ with your choice of gas or charcoal. Be sure to take some time to enjoy the firepit area with Adirondack seating.
Whether you prefer a night-in cooking and relaxing or a fun filled night-out by the lake, this cottage is perfectly located and equipped to make your stay a pure delight.

  • The second oldest building remaining on The Ohio State University campus, Orton Hall was opened in 1893. It is named after Dr Edward Orton, Sr. who served as Ohio State's first president, OSU Professor of Geology from 1873 to 1899, and Ohio's State Geologist from 1882 until his death in 1899. Orton Hall is built of 40 different Ohio building stones. In the outside walls, these stones are laid in stratigraphic order according to their relative positions in Ohio's bedrock. The only non-indigenous to Ohio stone used is Indiana Limestone to build the front steps. It was chosen because of its high concentration of embedded fossils. The bell tower was dedicated in 1915 and contains 25,000 pounds of bells that can be heard regularly tolling across campus. Encircling the top of the tower are 24 columns with gargoyle-like figures which are restorations of fossil animals.

Cute little updated cottage. Perfect for the time we needed to stay at Buckeye Lake. Close to cute little restaurants like Chef Shack and just a couple blocks from Buckeye Lake. Host had the house well stocked with basic necessities and Dollar General was right around the corner. Loved having 100% control over the thermostat as I've had some hosts that lock it.Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the back yard fire pit. Plan on visiting again next year.

Convenient Location

143 Elliot St at Buckeye Lake was an adorable four room house with a laundry room. Many homes on the street to this location looked a bit tattered but this little house had a complete makeover. Plenty of space for the two of us. We had two bedrooms but only used one. Nice eat in kitchen fully furnished with everything and even some condiments in the pantry. Laundry room was equipped with washer/dryer and laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Basically all we needed to bring was our clothes and food. Warmer weather so we did not use the available fire pit equipped with wood. Easy location to walk or a short drive to the lakefront. Plenty of places to eat even though we usually cooked in. Would be nice if bicycles were available. Our first VRBO and pleasantly surprised. The owner was available for questions about how to use or do anything. Good wifi!. The area was safe and quiet.

Accommodating lake house

This house is clean and beautifully decorated! Some of the highlights, great shower and toiletries, plenty of coffee, nice back yard space. It’s close to the lake and plenty of restaurants. The furniture is trendy but uncomfortable.
