”Reserved 4 nights to attend Scottish Highland games.After leaving elevator on 2nd floor along the corridor witnesses couple of house keeping carts left off by the walls loaded with dirty towels,sheets,sleeping pillows fell onto the dirty carpets.We were shocked because we might sleep on 1 of them later ,room, bathroom were dirty carpet was not vacuumed .Called the manager to learn why everything were in a mess Answer was disappointing, he was defending house keeping employee shortage, rooms...

”I have been to a lot of hotels all over the world and the Horton is my 3rd favorite! The staff members were all extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast was amazing. The interior design is exquisite, they skimmed on nothing. They are so attentive to the details too, like coffee and snack stations on the upper floors. The rooftop area is really beautiful with spectacular views. Love the Horton!!”

”It was beautiful land and quiet. Staff very pleasant. Room was ok but only one bottle of water. No times available at spa, food was ok but very over priced, need more options for food, especially breakfast. No pool, no jacuzzi… WiFi was inconsistent.”

”CALl IT WHAT IT IS If you are an AT hiker looking for a place to sleep close to the trail, in the dry, this is a good option. The bed was clean, had a refrigerator and ceiling fan, but no coffee pot. The bathroom and shower are communal so be aware there is not a bathroom in each “cabin,” nor can you lock your door from the inside. Thus “resort” is misleading. I am not sure why they chose to include “resort” in naming this place. It is very clearly a nice rustic campground with four hostel...

”We were very disappointed with the condition of the room number 46.As we entered a rat at least 12 inches long ran across the doorway The wallpaper was peeling off the wall in the room.The TV did not work. When we called reception we were told Spectrum was having connection problems and to try back later. The next day we called about the TV again. Then someone came to our room and fixed the TV. There was no stopper in the bathroom sink so washing our hands and faces was very difficult.The toilet...
