”We were there for our granddaughter’s wedding at Adaland Mansion. This was a convenient location for traveling to and from the event. The house was beautifully decorated and very roomy for a large family. Everything was clean and comfortable. The rain kept us from enjoying the outdoors but there was lots of room for outdoor sitting and grilling. Sherry is an exceptionally good host. I would recommend the riverfront home to anyone traveling to that area.”

”This is our second stay at this home. This home has everything you could possibly need. The view can’t be described. If you truly love relaxing by a beautiful river, fishing, deer watching and just enjoying nature, this is the home for you.”

”The house was a little hard to find the first day but we were fine getting around after that. We were welcomed by Sharon, who couldn’t have been more helpful. The house is very nice. It had everything we needed. The views were amazing and we loved just sitting on the front porch watching the river.”

”We had wonderful time. It was a gorgeous place to stay. Loved how it was in a wooded area away from others. The house was well kept and clean. The only inconvenience was the host would show up without any notice. Coming to check to see if we needed the trash taken or needed anything else is nice and fine but would have liked a notice that they were coming by.”

”This was a very charming beautiful old house. Perfect weekend stay for us and our fur babies. Thank you for allowing them! Perfect little fenced in back yard for them to run around a bit. Nice comfortable bed for us. Everything was wonderful. Could use a bit brighter lights for overhead but loved all of the soft lamps and decorations. Everything we needed for our weekend get away.”

”This property is beautiful. We had opportunity to rest and relax as well as room to prepare our contributions to the larger family Thanksgiving. Saturday saw us entertaining cousins for homemade soup and games. Mike (property owner). Graciously accepted our invitation and fit right in with the group…..definitely looking forward to going back!”

”We vacationed in Buckhannan so we could attend the barbecue contest. We had a wonderful time. We even accidentally locked ourselves out and the host responded and got us access within a half hour. The accomodations were updated and tastefully decorated. The hottub was an absolute blessing after hiking. I would stay here again. I would definitely rate them as an A.”

”Even though we spent most of our time sight seeing, the morning views of the creek were fantastic and easy access to go down onto the river itself. The property manager was very pleasant to speak with and gave us great suggestions on where to explore. The property was very clean and comfy, and we found the RGB lights to be a fun touch to the rental. Reccomend staying here to anyone!”
