Very spacious, adorable, open concept home, room for plenty to stay and enjoy each other's company! Located about 15 minutes from the Turtle Creek Stadium, but Buckley has the basics if you forgot something and just don't want to go into the big city!The hot tub was AMAZING! Once we figured out how to open it, it was very easy to get in and out of, just wish there was a light near that hot tub so we could see better in the evening!Jessica was wonderful and made check in very easy.

Wonderful Stay

I had a wonderful time with 5 friends spending two nights here while we toured around the Leelanau Peninsula. The check in process was painless, the host was extremely responsive, and all their instructions left on the counter were clear and helpful. The television was on when we arrived which was slightly startling because we thought someone else was inside the place already but we had a good laugh after letting ourselves in and seeing. The whisper cafe nearby served excellent food and was just a brief walk, and the gas station a minute up the road had a wonderful corner store. We would definitely come back and i would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Traverse city, sleeping bear dunes, or the Leelanau Peninsula.

Roomier than we expected: two queen beds and a futon in the living room, full kitchen, two half baths, plus a toilet and shower in the laundry room. Strange layout but perfect for what we needed, which was a standalone dog-friendly cottage with a fenced yard within driving distance of many northern Michigan attractions. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. Host was friendly and responsive. Overall a great experience.

Absolutely recommend, host was wonderful and so accommodating, the spa tub was amazing for the entire family. Very clean, and set up was very open and nice for the family. Host was very responsive when contacting her. I would come back to this property again. Neighborhood was very peaceful as well. You won’t regret it!

Sunshine Fields

My daughter played a softball tournament in Traverse City and this was the perfect house for us. We had two adults, four kids (6-15), and our two German Shepherds. It was spacious and the back yard was amazing. Jessica was a huge help and a pleasure to meet.

We had a great stay here for a family wedding weekend in the area. The hot tub was great and the open concept design was fabulous for our group. However, if traveling with a couple this property, while amazing lacks privacy due to the open nature of the floor plan. I would stay here again when coming to visit the family we have in the area.

Fun and Affordable

My family stayed at this property for a trip to see Traverse City and the surrounding sights. While it added meaningful time to our travels to have to go back and forth to Buckley, we didn't mind because it was more time we got to see the fall colors! The property was very well kept and clean for us, had all the basics we needed between days of adventure. And our kids were especially excited to try out all the cool jet features in the giant hot tub! It's in a quiet and quaint little residential street and with a privacy fence, helps escape the crowds of other more touristy areas. Would definitely consider staying again!

Amazing place!

Jessica’s place was wonderful! Our family enjoyed the spaciousness of the house and cleanliness of the property. The beds are comfortable and we made use of all of the essentials that was provided. The backyard is a great place to hang out, sit by the fire or enjoy the spa/pool. We will definitely be back!

Spacious, Yet Homey

My husband and I stayed for a week while we fished local lakes. There was plenty of space and it made a perfect home away from home. Loved the northern Michigan theme and the home was super clean. We didn’t bring children, but it would have been a great place for kids to play inside and in the fenced back yard.
