The immediate surroundings were a little odd with a warehouse and an abandoned car (?). it would be good to have a shower door to keep the bathroom floor dry and also have a heater in the bathroom. ”Best guesthouse experience in Iceland. The location - by waterfalled cliffs and the bay - is beautiful, in an entire country of beautiful locations. The guesthouse itself functions also as an art space, which you can see in the entry hallway as well as in the design / decor of the place. The service is excellent - Thora and Sumar are wonderful hosts (and great gardeners) and Hubert was exceptionally welcoming.
