”Was great and what we needed”

”Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude. Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back. A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day. Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. Will stay again if we visit Bude again.”

”The lady who runs the b&b was lovely, and so friendly, she gave us all the information we needed when we checked in. The room was large and spotlessly clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom had shampoo & conditioner as well as shower gel & soap. We paid for our parking at a car park down the road, but the b&b do have a small parking area out the back. Breakfast had a huge amount to choose from, cooked, cereals, toast, pancakes, pastries , yogurt & fruit. Hot drinks & fresh...

”Amazing staff and location - a bit tired inside but maybe that’s because we came at the end of the summer season?”

”Shower was great (if small) and the homemade shortbread was a nice little touch my son enjoyed as part of his breakfast. The breakfasts were also really good. They were very flexible on items on the full English and the ingredients were good quality with proper sausages, thick bacon and thick slices of good bread. The two women working there were great and the service was excellent though. They told another guest they only took it on last year and are doing it up but they need to either do it...

”Lovely room. Nice pub. Food good. EV charger was a definite benefit as well as coffee machine. Make sure you ask how to work the bedside lamps if not told!!”

”Unfortunately they forgot to put cups/mugs but there was coffee just nothing to drink it in. Alas there was a hairdryer diffuser in the drawer but not the rest of the hairdryer and the towels looked like they had been used as dust sheets whilst decorating. Brilliant staff, very good breakfast but no parking.”
