Great location, however, a lot of things were frustrating:
(1) Poor ventilation system - the front windows were left open before we got there because there's no central AC and the weather was very hot. This caused a ton of dust to enter the unit from the construction on the street in front of the unit. As a result, every hard surface in the kitchen/living room area had dust on it that hadn't been cleaned when we got there. Also, because the windows had been left open, the entire unit smelled like smoke when we got there because the next door neighbor likes to sit out front and chain smoke.
2) Related to the poor ventilation system - the only way of cooling the room where the bed is is to use the swamp cooler - this works ok, but you have to fill it with a ton of water for it to last through the night. On night 1, we ran out of water twice and were woken up by a beep because the swamp cooler unit was out of water. We learned our lesson by the second night, but still, it was very frustrating.
3) This is pretty minor, but why have a coffee machine there if you aren't going to leave filters for people to make coffee with? Maybe there were some that I couldn't find, but there certainly weren't any in the area where the coffee was.
4) Having to park around the block from the unit makes it mildly annoying to load/ unload compared to the other units in the same complex that are accessible from the back.
Overall, would not recommend for the price, despite the great location.
