Please note: This home is full of charm, styled in an eclectic Southwestern aesthetic with plenty of character. As an older property, it offers a unique and authentic feel rather than a modern, uniform design. Guests seeking privacy and direct river access will find this home to be an excellent choice and a truly special place to unwind.

We work hard to keep this home affordable and accessible so more guests can enjoy our beautiful area. As a well-loved and frequently visited home, none of the furnishings or amenities are brand new, but everything is maintained to provide a comfortable and practical stay. If you’re looking for a clean, budget-friendly place to relax and explore the region, this home is a great fit. When we describe it as older or well loved or well traveled, we simply mean the property shows normal wear from years of use and many furnishings and finishes have seen better days.

Please note: The home comes with a "starter kit" of Toilet paper and paper towels. If you are in need of any additional supplies City Market is 2 miles from the home.

Propane for the Grill
The home is not stocked with propane refills. If the propane tank(s) provided at the property are empty, guests who wish to use the grill will need to obtain a refill or exchange from a local propane vendor during their stay.

The Historic Hippy House is a unique, custom property with flexible sleeping arrangements. While we generally say the main adobe home sleeps 8-10, the actual capacity can vary depending on the mix of adults, kids, and how comfortably your group shares spaces. Kids often fit more easily on sofas or air mattresses, so groups who are close and casual may be able to accommodate more.

No air conditioning (rarely needed in the mountain climate). Pet-friendly with a $175 fee (maximum of two pets).

No Air Conditioning
Like most homes in South Fork, this cabin does not have air conditioning. The cool mountain climate, low humidity, and refreshing evening temperatures naturally keep the home comfortable throughout the summer.

Driveway parking for up to four vehicles, with additional space for an RV or trailer.

Please note: When bringing pets, it is important to know that the yard is not fully enclosed and you are responsible for your pet. There is teeming wildlife in the area. Neighboring dogs sometimes visit.

Two portable half bathrooms are available in the carport for added convenience.
The property sits at the edge of town, surrounded by creeks, rivers, and wetlands. Guests are asked to use caution, as the area includes natural vegetation, insects, and wildlife.

Please avoid feeding or approaching wildlife and use care when walking outdoors. Walking sticks or ski poles are recommended for uneven terrain.
