”This property is amazing! It is steeped in Costa Rican charm including hand-painted tiles and murals and hand-carved doors. Amazing views of the lake and the volcano. Patrick was very helpful recommending activities and helping getting them set up. The house is large, but it's set up in a way that our 4-person family still felt cozy. It also has a relatively accessible bedroom on the first floor that makes it perfect for those with older family members.”

”What an amazing house! The views of Arenal are so breathtaking that it’s hard to capture in words. The house is stunning and is fully equipped with high end touches. Fresh flowers were in the kitchen and bathroom making it feel like a luxury hotel. The host took great care to get us situated and is so kind that we felt comfortable from the start. It’s a spectacular property and was truly a place we will never forget.”

”We had a great time staying in this location. The view of the volcano is so nice, and the yard is beautifully landscaped. Being so close to the highway, you can sometimes hear a bit of traffic, but it wasn't too bad. Having Soda La Palma next door was great! We ate there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We stayed all over Costa Rica during our 12 day trip, and one of the highlights was the chilera served with the empanadas. The garden behind the soda is beautiful and my daughter loved Balu...

”Great spot to land and really get away from the majority of tourists. Local restaurants are cheaper, people are happier and it is not that far to all things Arenal. The house was great and property manager responded quickly when we had questions. Only thing is there is just one gate code, doors take a bit to get used to lock and unlock and house is 4th one on the left. But those are just minor things. ”

”This house was really a gem, well equipped and surrounded by nature. Just be SURE to rent a 4WD vehicle, as there are many steep and winding dirt roads to access the property with huge potholes and ruts. We knew about this area but if you have never been there be prepared for an off-road experience. Lots of birds and beauty make the effort worthwhile. Friendly and helpful caretakers. We had a lovely time:)”

”We had an amazing stay at Morada Colibri. The property is even nicer in reality than on the pictures. If you are lucky you will be able to see wildlife in the trees around the property - we were lucky to see a family of monkeys :) There is also an outdoor gym area and the jacuzzi is huge. Andy is a great host! I would definitely stay here again!”
