”This is our third stay at Iron Horse and we will keep coming back. We are most impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Paint, carpet, bathroom, etc are all clean and in great working order. The property is clean and well-kept as well. The staff is also friendly and helpful. The Inn is located close to many of the Black Hills attractions. ”Very clean! And in a safe area walkable to downtown, the trails and a variety of restaurants and breweries. Did not actually talk with the staff but text communication was prompt and very easy and accommodating at check-in. Safe, off-street parking and one of the trolley stops was next to the motel.”

”I’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past several years. It has gotten worse over time. Little if any maintenance has been accomplished on the property. During a stay exceeding a week my room was never serviced. I had to chase one of the cleaners down in the hallway to get a couple of fresh towels. The room was not very clean. The hallways were worse. Spend a few extra dollars and stay elsewhere. You’ll be glad you did.”

”We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite on the third floor! Loved the room and the light, spacious bathroom. Had fun in the casino too! Great location!”

”The property was historic and good location. Check in was terrible. I felt like was was inconveniencing them. There was a coffee thermos that was empty and a thermos of hot water so I asked if they had any water and was told there is water in your room I replied no I didn’t see any and was asked did you look in the bathroom!”
