”We loved it despite me having a chest infection followed by rotten cold!Peaceful, spotless, comfortable, everything we needed.Didnâ€™t find a key for back door but it didnâ€™t matter as we did loading that way then locked from inside and used front which I managed okay with my crutches.We enjoyed the fact that no live tv channels as we explored streaming with good effect.Not to be missed, Red Kite Feeding,Hay on Wye book shops and castlesMany wonderful walks I unfortunately can no longer...

”Great location, very friendly and helpful owner (Steve), excellent facilities and very comfortable holiday home ….with 7 days of 20+ temperatures and wall to wall sunshine ! …only very slight negative being that the windows could prob do with a better clean given the great views. Steve’s recommendation of the Seven Stars at Aberedw about 2 miles away was also excellent…nothing fancy about the food but very tasty, good portions and a really nice environment in a community owned country pub.”

”Well maintained and characteristic property with exposed beams and period features combined with modern decor and facilities. The only thing to be aware of is there is no shower in either bathroom (likely due to low ceilings), although both have a mixer tap with a showerhead so you can sit / kneel and shower this way. Whilst its proximity to the road is close, it was not a busy road, so passing traffic was not an issue during our stay. There was a pub within 1min walk of the property that also...

”The best part was the breakfast, very good and very polite individual. The room was cold, no hot water to shower, no one around to solve the issue. All in house amenities not in use. No bar. No service, no contact. It's 2 miles from town, so taxi us essential. It's the sort of place that picture perfect... But you'll only go once. Sorry for the bad review, almost recovered by the polite service and lovely breakfast.”
