”Great place. It was even better than we expected!”

”We stayed in Room number one. It was incredible. It was such a wonderful experience to stay in a historic building that had modern amenities and a lot of space. The room decorations and sliding doors were beautiful. The living room overlooks the garden. Everything was clean. It was nice to have the communal food area to grab coffee in the morning and a light meal. Be aware that the room entrance for the room is right next to the lobby. There are stairs to climb to get up to the room. We will...

”Excelent Place ”

”Lovely place to stay in an area of Kyoto that’s close to a few large, beautiful shrines. Really great room complemented by a wonderful, helpful staff. Would love to stay here again!”

”Great for solo travelers with a car. The covered parking is convenient and the staff was polite.”

”Easy check in, room was clean, had everything needed, ice and microwave one floor up, did not eat in the hotel at all. Great location right across from the Imperial Palace and just up from the subway.”

”Great stay, super comfortable beds and quiet room! Room was also very clean and seemed to be new. Only small minus about shower water temperature, it was very cool and could not get it warmer (meaning we took cool showers during the stay), but since it was +36 degrees outside we managed.”

”Comfortable, quiet, and gave a great traditional vibe that was EXACTLY what we were looking for! The staff were friendly and communicated well, made the whole process easy. When we come back to Japan this company will be the first place we check!”

”We absolutely loved our stay at Enso, the rooms where emaculate and comfortable with all the required amenities. My favourite was the scented wooden tub to soak in after a day exploring the sites of Kyoto. We were so lucky to have the incredible staff Leo and Tetsu dealing with all our enquires and also providing us with local knowledge of places to see and eat at. Made our visit and stay in Kyoto that much more special! It is a strong recommend if you are considering staying here. It won't...

”The place is too small and cramped up but clean, no towel provided, need to pay extra to use the towel, and it was not indicated that the restroom/ bathroom is shared to the other tenants but it's ok for us since we just stayed 2 days. Walkable restaurants, convenient store, and walkable Shrine nearby. Train station is far so we need to ride taxi.”

”The property was excellent and our host was wonderful!!”

”There were two Japanese well maintained gardens and stone paving hallway outside. They were beautiful and they made us feel very historical culture. The summer season in Kyoto is very uncomfortable to stay outside because of the hight temperature but, in this house, for some reason we could stay comfortably without air conditioner. It was a huge house but all the rooms were cleaned perfectly. Especially we were impressed with the bathroom. The high-tech toilets beautiful wooden bath tub made us...

”We had a fabulous 4 night stay at the Mogana Hotel in Kyoto. We stayed in room 701 which was spacious and had a balcony. The room was well appointed - water, juices, tea and coffee were replenished each day. The staff was very attentive and spoke very good English. We ordered the western style breakfast which was served in our room. It was beautifully presented and more importantly, delicious. There is a very small bar on the second floor that had small but good selection of wine and...

”Upea pieni Luxury/boutiquehotelli, jossa koko asunto samassa!

”Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We are so grateful we chose to stay here for our trip to Kyoto!”
