”Perfect place to get out of loud cities in Bali and explore a totally different climate and view. I was astonished by the mountains right behind the rooms. Staff were accommodating and helpful. A bit secluded if you got no transport, but I enjoyed the quiet and serenity.”

”It was a very nice stay. Simple arrangement yet comfortable (especially big comfy bed). Possible to get good food, order taxis, organise a trek to Batur volcano, hot springs. Basically right at the starting point for the trek to Batur. Nice people too!”

”FunkyPlace is funky. The common areas are nice and inviting. Beach is right behind the hostel. There is one girl in particular working at the place that is super nice, speaks good english and is very helpful. The room was quite basic but we really enjoyed the outdoor bathroom that was like extended private garden to the room. No aircon and the wifi didn't work in the room but in well in the restaurant.”

”Room and shower were great as we're the staff. However the location on busy road and neighbouring warung and chickens and dogs barking was very noisy. No safe in room and TV only had local channels.”

”Stedet er lite å koselig så vis man er et par er det sikkert helt topp. Vi var en venne gjeng på tur å det ble litt kjedelig der. Stranden er full av søppel å fiske båter så den er det ikke mulig å bruke. Det er et stort fint basseng der å siden det bare er 5 rom så har man det nesten alltid for seg selv. Du får også mulighet til å leie scooter der, noe som er helt nødvendig for å komme seg noe sted.”

”Our stay at Villa Dini was amazing! The property is located a bit out of the way, down a narrow rough path. It is situated in front of a black sand beach, which was a nice surprise but unfortunately it is full of rubbish. The gardener does go out and clean up the area in front of the villa, so that is great. We spent all of our time either in or beside the wonderful private pool. The staff are outstanding, especially the house keeper, Kadek. She is an amazing cook and will make you the best...
