”FunkyPlace is funky. The common areas are nice and inviting. Beach is right behind the hostel. There is one girl in particular working at the place that is super nice, speaks good english and is very helpful. The room was quite basic but we really enjoyed the outdoor bathroom that was like extended private garden to the room. No aircon and the wifi didn't work in the room but in well in the restaurant.”

”Not in a very convenient location, but besides that it's a great hotel, and the staff were very friendly! It also has a restaurant in the hotel so while there's not many restaurants nearby, at least you can order food at the hotel. Also the room and hotel were just absolutely beautiful! Kintamani was amazing as well”

”Perfect place to get out of loud cities in Bali and explore a totally different climate and view. I was astonished by the mountains right behind the rooms. Staff were accommodating and helpful. A bit secluded if you got no transport, but I enjoyed the quiet and serenity.”

”It was a very nice stay. Simple arrangement yet comfortable (especially big comfy bed). Possible to get good food, order taxis, organise a trek to Batur volcano, hot springs. Basically right at the starting point for the trek to Batur. Nice people too!”

”Great view on Batur Lake. Good clean rooms in silent place. Normal breakfasts but still simple. The parking place is a little bit outside and need to go on staircases quiet long. Better not to go on big bike till the end (Nmax) because it's really hard to turn back and need to go with reverse way on breaks for long time). ”

”The hotess is amazing. He propose a driver for us, because there was nos gogek. He brought us bananas when we were waiting.”
