The surrounds were so quiet, the gardens impeccably maintained and the bonus of fresh eggs from the chickens was wonderful. We explored the towns of Mittagong and Bowral and Berrima and were spoiled for choice of great cafes and restaurants. We certainly hope to return!”

”Our family had a beautiful time at Twin Oaks Cottage. The house and grounds are in beautiful lush condition, and were very safe for our children (three under 9) to run around and play on. Even a very thoughtful gift basket on our arrival with marshmallows to toast on the fire, carrots to feed the horses, and a lovely bottle of sparkling wine for the grown ups! Would definitely recommend staying at Twin Oaks.”

”It’s a lovely little cottage that had everything we needed. Loved the peace and tranquility. The host was lovely. Loved the complimentary bf items. Overall a great place. Cannot recommend enough to anyone who want to be away from your busy city life. The only suggestion I have is to have some blinds or shade over the main glass door. So we can close if we want for privacy. And open for a great view when we want.”

”We chose to have a very quiet Xmas this year. Staying for 4 nights at Heron’s Rest was peaceful calm and serene. The surroundings and scenery are beautiful with the dam taking centre stage with lotus flowers bobbing and blooming. A glass of wine on the pontoon and watching our dog get control of her ‘Pontoon legs’ was very entertaining! We had everything we needed in the accommodation. The skyscraper loaf of bread was sublime. We would definitely return. Thanks again to our hosts.”
