”We were greeted enthusiastically by the owner, Pete, and felt immediately welcome. As we had never been to Brisbane before (having just flown in from Canada), Pete gave us all kinds of great ideas for enjoying the city. It was easy to hop on the bus to get to South Bank quickly and then hop a ferry to The Star for a nighttime view of the city.

”The room was nicely renovated (looked exactly like the pictures online), exceptionally clean and the free easy parking was convenient too. The man who checked me in (didn't catch his name!) was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The bed was also very comfortable.
The only downside is, it is on a main road near the Pineapple Hotel so can be a bit noisy at all hours. Having said that, it is the first motel I've stayed at where I haven't been woken by people slamming their room doors closed...
”We arrived during the stated reception hours, but reception was closed. We phoned the number on the front door and were let into the building and guided through obtaining our key from the lock box, so it wasn't a problem. The apartment was a good size and clean. It had a long balcony, running the length of the apartment, which was great. The view over Brisbane City, the river and Southbank was amazing. We often sat out on the balcony just enjoying the view. We enjoyed our two night stay at this...
”It was nice community to stay and the whole hostel area looks amazing. Little bit too much rules and especially at evening places to be for example i do work in europe time so if phone meeting came was hard to find to place where i can be. ”
