The owner does not respond. Not reliable at all.

On the day of check-in the owner did not respond. I had a birthday party planned, and had to tell all the visitors to cancel the party! Stay away from this property. I started communication with them 4 days prior and they just never communicated.

Beautiful House

I stayed for a night. As short as that might be the place was lovely they provided so much as in toilet paper, blankets, pillows and etc. I reached out to the host about the remote and he was very quick to answer. The place was great since it was secluded the drive into the street is so beautiful and scenic as short as it may be. I had a gathering for a friend's birthday and my god did everyone have fun. Everyone enjoyed it as lot and had so much fun. Definitely would come back for another gathering and would recommend.

Great place to host a birthday

I wouldn’t want to stay here for an extended period of time due to cleanliness issues but it was amazing for a one night stay to host a birthday party in a beautiful area. Pros: Beautiful area away from the city in a quiet area and the property is big enough and away from neighbours enough you can enjoy outdoor games and music without fear of bugging anybody even late at night. Played lawn bowling with the outdoor lights after 10pm and it was very cool! The house is also huge and although the listing says it sleeps 7 it can easily sleep closer to 10-12 between couches and king size beds if your guests dont mind that kind of thing. Cons: Check in was a near disaster because the details to get in never appeared. I contacted the owner directly morning of and he responded quickly at first but the details he gave were incorrect and we couldn’t get into the property for over an hour after check in started. Got in eventually and he seemed very apologetic for not responding to us sooner so hopefully he’ll fix the issue for future guests. Property mainly the bathrooms could have been cleaner. For the most part it the house was good but the main bathroom toilet seat was left up and looked like it needed to be cleaned which was pretty discomforting Overall: despite the cons I don’t regret renting the property at all it was affordable and we had an amazing party, hope to rent again next year

Rustic, charming, quiet getaway close to the beautiful outdoors.

There were a few hiccups that were rectified by our host fairly quickly & we appreciated her kindness for our family birthday milestone celebration. A quiet, peaceful location in a bright, rustic farmhouse with comfortable beds & tastefully decorated. There are a few suggestions though. I find it helpful having a "welcome" book or folder with info related to our stay or visit in the area. The oven didn't work but instead of diverting from our party to find out why, I chose to use the microwave oven to heat items. A couple of guests were not 100% comfortable with the upstairs bathroom door not being able to stay closed and mattress pads are essential for comfort & hygiene. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for a centrally located, spacious, private country getaway for your gathering.

Peaceful open space

Main house is very spacious. Three bedrooms are big, one is average size. Large kitchen, two distinct living rooms. Outdoor areas are very spacious, very quiet country feel only 15 minutes from urban area. Check in was slightly difficult, just wasn’t clear how to get in. Also place could have been a little cleaner, particularly the kitchen.
