”Came to Maine to run a marathon. We were lucky enough to find this residence instead of a hotel. I’m glad that we did. It’s a charming cabin that is very pet friendly if you bring a pet. Chilling out on the dock and listening to the loons while boaters cruise by was very relaxing. The owner is very available and easy to communicate with. If there was any one thing that needed additional attention, it would be the cleaning. The person who does the cleaning probably needs one of those Swiffers...

”Great location just outside of town. Property owner is super easy to contact and very kind. Very clean and calming place to stay. Nice back deck and picnic table by the river with plenty of room to roam in a wall kept lot. As other reviews have mentioned, I can see the issue if you have trouble with steep stairs to the bedroom, but the design of a cabin is no reason to knock down a rating, If you need handicap accessible, look for something that says it’s handicap accessible. ”

”My family and I spent a week at this property and absolutely loved it! The house has everything and more that you would need. The water is crystal clear and great for swimming and kayaking! We had 4 little ones with us 3 and under and they could not of had a better time! ”

”The directions provided by the owner were very accurate and helpful. The lot was beautiful with a firepit and a very short walk to the dock, where clear water awaited. I did have some issues, though, which would've been mitigated with some additional information. There is running water but the smell of sulfur was overwhelming. ”This rental is centrally located. Bangor is a short drive away and you can get to the coast in an hour. The house was very clean at a resonable price. The neighborhood is quiet and not far from neccesities. We especially enjoyed eating dinner on the river at peppers landing and the Bangor outdoor venue for concerts is beautiful. Great time and wonderful area! ”

”We loved the location of this property. We have our own kayaks and we loved how easy it was to get them in and out of the water. We also enjoyed sitting on the wraparound porch where there is a nice breeze coming off of the other lake across the street. The kitchen is recently renovated and the bedrooms are nice and cozy. I have also never seen a place so well stocked with firewood. Property managers are ver friendly and helpful. 10/10.”

”This is a great location to get away and enjoy the peace and quite. We had fun swimming, fishing, canoeing and enjoying being outside. Even for the three days it rained we were able to enjoy our stay. Lots of board games, reading and naps. Great place for the family.”
