”The relationship between price and quality was not the best. The hotel is not a three star rating but deserves only two star rating. However, judging by the guests, the hotel was quite popular among locals. Breakfast was every morning the same and it differed considerably from a European breakfast. It included bagel, roll, bun, wafer, yoghurt, apple/orange, cerials, minced beef, fried egg, coffee and juice. Overall the hotel was shabby and the cleaning level was not very good. ”Absolute hole in the wall! Nothing like the bright,beautiful pics. Felt bad for the housekeeping girl that she had to deal with this mess. Didn't feel safe and worried my vehicle wouldn't be there or parted out when I woke up in the morning. You'll understand when you pull onto the property and the plexiglass separating the manager from the customer. I actually packed up after my daughter's graduation and drove the 7 hrs home. Dirty, towels smelled, no place to hang any clothes up. Would never...

”The rooms were very clean and spacious with a separate seating area so it was perfect for our family. They went out of their way to celebrate Duke’s graduation weekend and Mother’s Day… decorations, welcome party, lobby snacks, roses for mothers. ”

”I had to contact the front desk twice for the heat not working. They had to send a maintenance person to the room twice. It still continued to not work through the night, the room was very cold. I woke up with a runny nose and coughing.”

”Carpets throughout were stained, sheers in room were torn and room very tired. Clean but in need up updating. Disappointing overall for the price of the room. Hotel is close to Duke and we did find a great place to eat. Try Local 22 Kitchen & Bar. Very good restaurant, reasonably priced nice atmosphere. Would have chosen a different hotel if condition was known ahead of time. ”
