”Seven of us age range 6-75 stayed at Gardners Cottage during New Year week. On arrival welcomed by the warmth of the property in the afternoon of the last day of the year. And welcomed even more by the Christmas tree beautifully lit in the dining room.Other lovely festive decorations( including mistletoe ) were still there in the hallway and lounge.The lounge very comfortable but may have benefitted by another light in the winter afternoon and evenings. ”Oat Barn has everything you could wish for a delightful stay. It is beautifully designed and decorated. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. Very clean and high quality. Great outdoor space overlooking fields and the church. Shot walk to an excellent traditional country pub. Short drive to plenty of pretty villages.”

”Beautiful cottage with lots of space for my partner and I plus our baby. Well-equipped and in a lovely village with shop nearby. Very good communication from the owner, who was nearby and welcomed us, but then left us to it which was perfect. A lovely gesture to include some essential food items when we arrived, and there was a very thorough and informative welcome pack as well. Highly recommended”

”This property was absolutely wonderful for our family. My husband is from Norwich originally and still has family there. The bedrooms and bathrooms were absolutely spotless, plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen is very well stocked and just a fantastic gathering spot. All and all a great was had by everyone! ”

”Beautifully updated house. A fantastic job was done to retain the character of the home, but update it to modern amenities and comforts. Directions to access the property were clear, making it easy to locate and enter. My only suggestion would be to provide some basic toiletries such as shampoo, soap in the shower, more toilet paper (we had to go purchase toilet paper as there was a small supply provided). ”

”Everything we needed was provided. We did bump our heads a couple of times on the low door frames and had to take care upstairs, because of the different levels of steps. We purchased a weekly parking permit to park in the public parking area by the rec center. When we needed to load/unload it was challenging at times to navigate the car down the narrow street, especially with some parked cars sticking further out. Overall though a lovely cottage.”
