”We enjoyed our stay. A very quiet neighborhood among a string of super-exclusive stores. A one way street, so very little car traffic. Able to walk to a ton of restaurants, museums, the tram, and of course Vondel Park just a block away. A great escape from the bustle of downtown.”

”I am beyond grateful for this stay! We stayed here as a family of 3 (two adults, 1 teen) for a long weekend getaway. I could not have picked a better option! The home is as described and very clean and comfortable. You enter up 3 flights of modern, comfortable stairs into a small vestibule shared with the hosts. From there, you enter through a locked door into a private hallway. Take the hallway to the right to find a large, comfortable bedroom and a clean and functional bathroom with laundry....

”This apartment is in a perfect location and the pictures are exactly what you get. There are 2 very large bedrooms with 2 good sized baths. We were greeted with a great bottle of wine, which was so appreciated after our long travels (Thank you Daan!) We had an issue with no hot water and a broken hair dryer (which we were alerted to by Daan). The hot water was fixed relatively quickly (needed a new part), and the hair dryer was replaced that same day. Later in our stay, the heat stopped...

”Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön obwohl das Wetter leider nicht mitgespielt hat. Die Lage des Hausbootes ist perfekt und Edwin sehr nett. Leider hat unser "Geburtstagskind" ein paar Dinge zu beanstanden gehabt. Es gibt im 2. Schlafzimmer kein Fenster. Es fehlten u.a. ein Fernseher und eine Terrasse. Für 4 Personen ist es definitiv zu klein.”

The only minus was upstairs renovation work, which is why we were not able to use the yard (due that unable to open the back door). In our weekend the weather was bit rainy, so the inconvenience was not so bad….”

”We absolutely loved our stay here. Edwin and Karin were so kind and sweet, and the property itself was very clean and so cute. It was so easy to reach multiple public transit stops in the area for short bus or tram rides to museums and other points of interest. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay here again.”

”Alles war wie beschrieben es war für uns nur zum übernachten mehr haben wir ehrlich auch nicht gebraucht. Es liegt sehr zentral so das wir alles sehr gut erreichen konnten. Paul ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber es hat alles super geklappt. Für jemanden der keine Ansprüche hat und nur übernachten will ist es optimal. Vielen Dank für alles Paul”

”Mario was the best host; so easy to communicate with and genuinely kind. We appreciate his responsiveness and the laundry service. The apartment is large, comfortable for 6 people (we had 5). There is not a lift and the stairs can be challenging if you are above floor 2. The apartment is well stocked and furnished. Location is great; right in the heart of De Wallen. We would stay here again for sure. ”

”Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 10 days and were really happy that we chose this apartment. It was super clean and had everything we need. It‘s not far away from the train station and the supermarket. Bussum is also a really cute City with little Shops and nice Breakfastspots (even as vegeterians!). Isabelle is a really kind host and always asked if we need something. We would recommend it 100% and are really thankful we could stay here for our vacation!”

”This not a real studio as it does not have a bathroom neither a WC, these are outside and shared....and very old style. The location is great.”

”Property was clean and well appointed. There were 2 adults and we booked for 3 so we could have the whole apartment to ourselves and each with our own room. Small kitchen served us well for breakfasts and snacks. Bathrooms were stocked with soaps, shampoo, etc. Some reviewers have advised about the 2 steep staircase stairs. These were a bit curvy so the steps were not rectangles, but narrower at the curved part and wider (still shallow) at the outside wall. A handrail is installed on the wall...
