”We enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It is conveniently located on a picturesque canal street within reasonable walking distance of attractions, shops, and dining. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. The apartment is all on one level, which was nice as well. Initially determining the location of the key box and the apartment door were a bit tricky, as the key box is up a short flight of stairs to the right of the actual apartment door, and there are 189, 189A, and 189B street...

”We used this a our main base for touring the Netherlands. It was near Amsterdam, slept 7 easily, roomy enough for us all. It was tough to speak with anyone with the accomodation before we got there as to how each room was stocked. Lots of dishes and cutlery. Nice and close to Volendam to walk into town and stroll. If we go back would use again. ”

”Our stay at the Canal House was just what we had envisioned!! Perfectly located near everything that we wanted to see and do and the accommodations were perfect; quiet, clean, and comfortable!!Evert was a great host there if we needed anything but did not try to be part of our experience.The only challenging thing is the stairs to the 2nd floor apartment, alone they are fine with luggage it is a test of strength and balance, but the trip up is more than worth the effort.”

”Beautiful apartment in a great neighborhood, lots of restaurants, grocery close by and easy walking to tram. It was like being a guest at a friend’s house: fresh flowers, snacks, umbrellas, lots of homey touches. Family of 4 was very comfortable… good seating, comfy beds, lots of towels, plenty of hot water excellent shower pressure. Highly recommend!”

”Great location! Quiet and very comfortable apartment. The host was super helpful and friendly. Note that street parking is not an option as it is very expensive. But there is a nice garage close by for a little over 20 a day that is safe and secure.”
