”Looking for a dog friendly hotel in or close to Segovia didnt have much choice. Settled on El Rancho and we were delighted. Forgot to tell them we would have a dog when we booked but the reception staff couldnt have been more helpful. Lovely room on ground floor with a patio door out onto a grassed area was perfect for those middle of the night calls. Continental breakfast had lots of choice”

”The rooms were huge, beautifully decorated, the location was perfect for a wedding, and the events, the ladies at the reception were very nice and friendly.”

”The owners were incredibly helpful & kind. The apartments were perfect for a short or long holiday. There is an Aldi, Lidl & other supermarkets within easy walking distance. Shower had plenty of hot water, bed was comfortable. Car parking on street was great. About a 20-minute walk to the aqueduct in Segovia, it was easier than trying to park in the city. Air con in the room worked flawlessly. La Lastrilla, is a lovely area, with local shops, bars & restaurants. I rarely go back to the same...

”Very cosy and well equipped place, close to many little and quaint towns. We’re not very picky, but some people who might be, may complain about the bed’s squeaking. ”

”This is our second stay at Galaico in 3 months and the second time was as good as the first. Lovely welcoming staff who are happy to help with anything, comfortable and warm rooms (probably a little too warm for me but we opened the window and turned off the heating and it was fine!) We haven’t eaten in the hotel so can’t comment on the food. The housekeeping staff are very welcoming and polite. I will definite stay here again - and will likely be returning at Easter. ”

”The hotel and the room were beautiful and full of luxury. Room cleaning was in excellent level. Area was calm. Only few negative things: 1) not all the staff spoke fluent English. Sometimes there were problems with understanding. 2) The swimming pool was closed and it was one of the reasons why we chose the hotel. It was September, so perhaps their summer was over.”
