Sea Star Villa is a spacious side-by-side duplex located just 25 yards from the ocean, offering the perfect setting for a laid-back coastal escape. Designed with comfort in mind, this 2-bedroom retreat accommodates up to 6 guests.

The upper living level features a bright, open-concept layout with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable living area, dining space for gathering, and a convenient half bath that opens to an oceanside deck. The layout allows everyone to stay connected while enjoying time together.

Sleeping arrangements include a king master suite with a private bath and a queen bedroom that opens directly to a deck and shares a bath with hallway bunks. Guests have access to resort-style amenities, including a pool and spa, fish cleaning stations, private under-house entry, private parking, and outdoor hot and cold showers. Sea Star Villa is the ideal home base for your Hatteras Island getaway.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is always the best! The view, sound of the ocean and of course a short walk to the beach. This year the house wasn’t as clean as years before, sadly it didn’t look like the house was vacuumed you could feel the sand on your feel while walking around the bedrooms and living room. We had wrong sizes to our beds and by the time we noticed they had closed down the laundry exchange. They had holes in the one upstairs bathroom door and food under the fridge and oven. Normally I would complain but like I said 4th year coming down and it wasn’t the same.

If you want to wake up and go to sleep with surf just outside your window, this is your place. This fragile ecosystem is astonishingly beautiful and respected; we came away relaxed and refreshed. Shimmering stunningly beautiful ocean and the Hatteras Lighthouse just a walk down the beach. Affordable and friendly. Very highly recommended.

Had to delay our arrival due to hurricane Florence but was impressed with the constant communication from the hotel office. Arrived for 5 days of sunlight, waves, and perfection. The unit was perfect. Upstairs is the living area and kitchen and downstairs was 2 beds, 2 baths a bunk beds. Easily accessible to walkway to the beach. Kitchen was well equipped for simple cooking and grills are all over the property. Pool was nice and clean. Property was well kept and everyone we met was friendly. Our second visit and certainly not our last!

A great upgrade this year was the unit having its own wireless router which dramatically improved the internet experience. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Been to the Lighthouse View many times over the years and always have an enjoyable time. We stayed in one of the northside duplexes. The units are older but well maintained. Internet is slow but that is Hatteras. The Buxton Beach Nourishment Project is underway and the beach is much larger than last year. Unfortunately it seems to have an adverse effect on fishing.

This year was the beach restoration project out in back of the Inn and was a tad noisy as they worked all night. Not managements fault. We weren't able to fish where we usually do behind the hotel, because of the work, but still a great place. Already booked for next year.

We have been coming here for 22 years. When we started staying here we stayed in the main building which has studio apartment style rooms. As our family has grown we have advanced to the 2 bedroom duplex. We travel the same week and have made life long friends. Very clean and staff is very helpful. It’s a quiet family spot

We love this accommodation because it's so close to the beach and because it's such a comfortable and roomy cottage. I suppose the furniture could use a little updating, but it doesn't matter to us.
