"The cabin is a bit small for four people, but just right for two. The furnishings are worn but comfortable. We had trouble accessing wi-fi at first, but an agent came right over and fixed it. Lots of construction noise in the area, bit that will soon go away. My only criticism is that the den has no lighting, and there aren’t enough electrical outlets."

"This place was perfect for our little family. We had top floor and it was perfect. Walk to beach was perfect as well. View of ocean was amazing from the deck. The floor below us had other tenants and you could hear them very well talking or tv and their dog and when they walked the whole place shook. It was a little too close for comfort but we weren’t home much so we tried not to let it bother us."

"Absolutely loved the vintage feel of this. It was cozy and fit our needs. It was close to the beaches that we wanted to visit and was so quiet. I would definitely book again and 10/10 will recommend. Our host was awesome as well."

"Perfect house for a beach getaway with family. We stayed for 3 nights in early June. Unbeatable location right on the beach with fantastic ocean views. Lots of fridge space for food and libations and having access to a propane grill is clutch. Although the house is fully loaded, you'll want to bring your own beach accessories & umbrellas as those are not included."

"We loved the amount of space in the house. The rear pool and patio area is terrific. Location near the beach, hatteras loghthouse, the grocery is super. Lots of dishes to cook and eat from. Some of them were not well cleaned - we just made a habit of cleaning the dishes before we used them. Management was easy to communicate with."

"Very nice unit, well decorated and furnished. Convenient location. Only issue was a malfunctioning dehumidifier that was causing a musty odor. Didn’t realize until last night of our stay that it was leaking and had soaked the LR carpet area. We advised the staff in the morning and they assured us it would be taken care of."

"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the property. The location was wonderful. Right on the beach and a short drive to restaurants/shops/ferry/etc. in Hatteras. The property itself was nice and updated. Loved that it was also pet-friendly. I just wish we could have gotten in earlier, as it was almost 6:00pm before we could finally get in. We would stay here again."

"This location is exactly as it is described. The sunset views from the balcony are breathtaking and it really is only a 5-10 minute walk across the street to the ocean-side. Close to restaurants and shopping, it’s probably one of the best spots in Avon. Close to your checkin date, you’ll receive a very helpful and detailed document about the property and the area. It really left no questions at all. Highly recommend!"
