”Our stay was just what we hoped for! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well stocked, and the view from the porch was breathtaking. We stayed there with our pups for a month and enjoyed every minute of it. It was just the nature retreat we were looking for. The hosts were responsive to any questions we had. I highly recommend this location if you want to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of the river and mountains in a very comfortable setting.”

”Fantastic property. Completely removed from the hustle and bustle of the cities. Great hosts. Great movie collection (on DVD). No internet and no cell coverage (which is just what the doctor ordered). Plenty of cooking gear. 2 grills. Stop at McGowan’s Grocery in plains and load up with food. All the basics are already there. ”

”We stayed at this heavenly haven in Montana for our fifth year in a row. This beautiful log home on 14 acres surrounded with mountain views continues to be our favorite family getaway spot for scenic serenity and reflective repose. The house is spacious, comfortable, immaculately clean, decorated with country art, and feels like home. The owner and his cleaning staff are welcoming, helpful, and very nice. If there was a rating of 5, I would use this to recommend Mountain Log Hideaway to people...

”We stayed here due to it's close proximity to Thompson Falls and we were over for the week doing work for the county. It was much more desirable to stay in a home then have our group split up in hotel rooms (which are pretty limited in the area anyway). This allowed us to do some of our own cooking, and saves us money! Property was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We weren't around very much to enjoy the property overall but it was a great place to unwind after the long work day...

”This was such a beautiful cabin and it was very apparent that the owners put a lot of thought into the details. Communication with the property manager was great - he was very thorough and responsive. ”If you like quiet and comfort, then this is a place for you. There are stores close enough by to where you can get anything you need or maybe go have dinner. It’s a very cozy cabin that is perfect for any couple. Megan was the most gracious host and always available if we needed her which we did not. I highly recommend staying with Megan at her cozy cabin in Haugan Montana. ”
