House and closeness to beach were great
The house and patio area were pretty darn good. Location to beach and food were great. It’s literally just the way to get to the house is a bit sketchy. We walked it every night we felt a bit scared it’s really hard to explain and it’s nothing the homeowner can do or is at fault for because everything he did was great! There was a great little convenience store up the road that had great breakfast sandwiches and snack food. I definitely recommend this house! Especially if you want a true feel of Puerto Rico!

LOVED this house!!
The house was clean, spacious, comfortable and clearly well-taken care of. It had all the amenities and items you would have in your own home!! My husband and I came from California to meet with my family, all of which live in San Juan, PR. It was a very special family gathering with my siblings. We had an outstanding time, went to local restaurants, to the beach, and completed the Exterra 10K event! All in all, an excellent choice!! If and when we come back to Cabo Rojo, PR, we will definitely come back to this place! Highly recommended!!!

Combate Beach Getaway
The rental home is a beautiful and spacious PR home. There is plenty of parking space for others to come and enjoy the beach and outdoor seating space. This was great for us as we are from this part of the island and our family came to visit us. The home is a short walk to a small private area on combate beach. It is also a short drive away from one of the main beach strips. The beds are comfortable and the home provided us with most of the items we needed. The ability to have a washer and dryer with kids was great! Some feedback to make this property a five star stay include to: provide bathing soap/shower gel. We also recommend updating the kitchen pots/pans and cooking utensils. The guest shower also was backed up so the water was not draining properly and you would shower and be in a tub of water at least past your ankles. The first bedroom AC was also not working so to get AC in the room, you needed to sleep with the door open; although a fan was provided. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and thank the host for the available property.

Best location in the Combate area!
We stayed for 3 nights at this location. Property was very clean, AC units in the entire house and walking distance to Combate beach. Also close to the famous restaurant Annie's Place and other tourist attractions. This house is big enough to accommodate large families. I highly recommend staying here if you are thinking if visiting Cabo Rojo.

Birthday and Family Reunion
An unforgettable return to my hometown. Celebrated my 70th birthday with a wonderful family reunion with uncles, cousins and younger generation. The family reunion was in the gazebo and lower portion of the property. The open space of the property was spectacular for the occasion. The facilities in the gazebo and bathroom downstairs were ideal. The facilities in the house upstairs were also awesome. Very confortable and with everything you would need. All in all I had one of my best days ever with the family reunion. I want to extend a special thanks to Angel for having such an excellent property and allowing me to have the family reunion downstairs. I totally recommend this property to anyone.

Saludos.. Dia #1 - estuvimos sin luz y bregando el generador a las 1130 de la noche. Y no power utilizar el baño del master bedroom porque estaba liqueando el inodoro y la bañera tapada (no bajava el aua). Dia #2 - No luz la mayoria del Dia y tampoco uso del baño master. Dia #3 - La dueña nos llamo con actitud y exihiendono el porque no habiamos dejado las llaves para el handyman. Le preguntamos de que hablaba que no sabiamos nada. Ella despues nos exijio regresar a la casa y que nos apuremos porque el handyman estaba esperendo. Regresamos porque queriamos resolver el baño. Al fin, no se areglo el baño dejando solo un baño en la casa principal para 6 personas. Unacceptable!! Dia 4-7 Prometieron areglar el baño y no mantuvieron su palabla. Por lo siguiente, 2 de nuestros visitantes se fueron a un hotel por la inconveniencia. 6 personas para un baño fue inacceptable. No puedo creer que ella me haya dicho de que mi familia fuera a ilutilizar el baño de afuera para hacer sus necesidades!! Eso no fue todo. En el website dice de equipo de playa y no habia solo una silla rota. Desde nuestro primer dia estuvimos pidiendo ayuda y la dueña nos dio una lectura de agradecimiento como si nuestra estadia hubiesesido de gratis. El dueño prometio devolver Dinero y no lo hicieron. No regresaremos y nunca voy a referir a este lugar. Los dueños se comportaron mal en su servicios

Wonderful getaway
Our stay was great. We had 5 adults, and kids were 10 months, 2, 7 and 10. The walk to the beach’s was very an easy walk and kids loved the sea. The stay of 5 days was ver much needed.

This house it’s beautiful , very clean and spacious . Close to the beach ! Could improve adding a swimming pool 😂😂😂 and better internet service but then again we’re not there to watch TV! LOL

This house is close to beautiful beaches and we enjoyed spending time in nearby Boqueron. It was difficult to find after dark but the owner was helpful when we called. Puerto Rico is an amazing island and this was a great home base to explore part of it.

The perfect gathering spot for our family.
My family coming from three States came together for a lovely family reunion. The beautiful house is very close to the beach and well appointed with everything we needed to spend a pre Christmas vacation. Everything was true to the description and the owner was responsive and courteous. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway
This property was excellent for a weekend getaway while we were visiting family in Puerto Rico. The house was beautiful, great for entertaining, had a great location and close to the beach as described. We had a phenomenal time. Host was easy to contact with questions. We would go back again!

Beautiful House Poor Management
First let me say this is a gorgeous house just poorly managed. The manager who is truly the owner failed to provide access to the house by check in time. We are not from the island and after a long drive from the San Juan area, It took several attempts of us trying to communicate with them to finally get access to the house. The phone number on the listing went directly to voice mail. Once they finally responded they informed us they were on vacation. They did not have a back up number for emergencies on the listing. Also, the house is difficult to locate, better directions would be helpful. They have 4 tvs listed in the house and only one works. Big inconvenience when traveling with kids. The first morning a lady showed up at the house who told us she was the cleaning lady. She tried her very best to assist us with some of our issues. But she could only do so much. The beach items advertised NOW LISTED were not there we found chairs in horrible condition that we could not use. There was no hot water the entire week. The master bathroom sink leaks water on the floor when used. The ac in small bedroom smells horrible when used. After reaching out to the Owners/Managers there response for all of the items above was an invoice for $100 for a beach chair that we never used or saw. And beach towels that were left in the house at check out. We had 6 quest for this visit, 6 bath towels, 4 wash clothes and 6 beach towels were available to us. (Weird). We had to run and pick up detergent so we can have clean towels for our 6 day stay. We rent vacation homes several times a year, this was a first time we had such a negative experience with a rental. The area is absolutely gorgeous and again the house is as well just not properly maintained/managed. The lack of communication is terrible and they have no back up for emergencies. Very poor customer service!

Great location and easy access to beach!
We were very impressed with the cleanliness and location. House is very comfortable and spacious and only one block from the beach. 5 minute walk to bars, restaurants, playground, and boat launch. Internet signal is a bit weak so be sure to have with you a good hot spot available. We will rent again!

Great time!
We had a great time at this property and enjoyed it's close proximity to the beach. The area is great, especially during the week when mostly locals are there. We had some some problems with the water heater but communicated with the property manager efficiently about it.

Family getaway
Finding the property wasn’t easy but once we did we were very pleased. It was clean, spacious and convenient to “town.” It might be helpful to include some info on how to operate the showers and the air conditioners but those weren’t major issues. The outdoor space is great and we were able to fire up the grill as we hosted an impromptu small family reunion one night. My senior parents (80 & 87), both Puerto Rican natives, were thrilled with the property. Highly recommend!

Great property, super spacious and walking distance to the beach. It was super hard to find at first (we were starting to think it was a fake listing) until i contacted the property manager and we were able to locate the house. The back patio is a great bonus for all the family to hang out, cook and have a few drinks.

Beautiful house but check in was delayed and stressful
I rated the check in process 2 stars because we were supposed to check in at 3 and we were all in Combate waiting for information and had not received it. I was sending emails and trying to locate the VRBO process for issues when at 330 I heard from Angel and Carmen. We had sat down to eat and received directions and when following the coordinates our GPS could not accurately locate it so they did go on FaceTime with us to help us figure out the neighborhood. I was truly worried for a bit when I did not have the check in information on time and did not hear from them for a bit but after that the stay was great.

Excellent location, only a beachfront property has a better location. The fridge required a little boost to start cooling. There was a blackout the first night due to rain showers associated to a passing storm, a power generator would help. Overall an excellent experience.

THE place to stay with a big group
Family trip of 8. The house was near the water, bar/restaurants and a small market. Well equipped in the kitchen, and extra supplies of paper and cleaning products. We did miss a blender, maybe we didn’t see it. With the exception of the floors, the house was super clean and ready for use. Grateful for air conditioner units throughout. Neighborhood is quiet. Definitely would recommend to others. I would rent again.

Great house amazing location
The house is great the rooms have a lot of space, the common areas are very inviting, and in general everything was clean and in good shape. The location is extraordinary, super close to Combate beach but with just the right amount of distance to stay away from the craziness of the access point to the beach, it even has an alternate rout to get there that avoids going all the way through the main street. I do have to point out that the use of the BBQ presented some problems, there was no gas at first , and when we bought it the hose that makes the connection didn´t totally work. Also the internet signal in all the house was very low (there is only one router on the master bedroom). But overall the stay was great, would definitely come back some time.

The property was gorgeous, very spacious and comfortable. It had a fully stocked kitchen, which we liked a lot. Very close to the beach but not so close as to be in the midst of all the traffic. The owners were there when we arrived and were lovely. If I have the opportunity to visit the area again would not hesitate to look up this property to stay again.

Excellent property
I rented the house during Thanksgiving weekend for a get together with family members. The house is well equipped and it’s location was just we were looking for! Walking distance to the beach an very close to beaches as Combate and Playa Sucia. Highly recommended and we will like to return!
