Taxis are widely available in the Flamingo and Potrero areas, and you can also arrange private drivers through local services or your villa host. Some drivers offer flat rates for popular routes like airport transfers or beach trips.

Car Rentals
Most visitors choose to rent a car, as it gives you the freedom to explore the surrounding beaches, national parks, and towns. Several international rental agencies (like Alamo, Budget, and Adobe Rent a Car) have offices in Liberia Airport, just over an hour away, and some also offer delivery directly to the villa.

Buses
Public buses connect Flamingo and Potrero with nearby towns like Brasilito, Tamarindo, and Santa Cruz. While affordable, they run on set schedules and may not be the most convenient for large groups.

Airport Access
Liberia International Airport (LIR) is the closest major hub, about 1 hour and 15 minutes away by car. San José International Airport (SJO) is roughly 4.5 hours away. Private shuttles and transfers can be arranged from either airport to the villa.

Trains
Costa Rica does not have train service in this region, so buses, cars, and taxis are the main transportation options.
