From the moment Bilitis opened the door to show us into the property, we were in love with this house! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the whole house is comfortable, clean, and beautiful. The views are even more spectacular than the photos - waking up to wide open views of the ocean and resting on the patio while watching the sunset every night is exactly what we needed on this vacation! The staff keeps the house spotless - they clean the pool first thing in the morning, and they came to clean the house while we were out during the day. Bilitis went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable - when we had any minor issues, she responded immediately and fixed it! She even had ice cold drinks waiting for us on our arrival. I was so grateful for help with the laundry - Bilitis even said âitâs not a vacation if you have to do laundryâ - the first time we handed over our laundry bag and they brought everything back the next day washed and folded. A couple days later, we were surprised to see that they took the laundry bag without even being asked, which was so thoughtful. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped, the bedrooms are comfortable and have tons of storage space (which was not the case in other places we stayed on this vacation). We kept doors closed so there were no insects inside the house, but we saw lots of crabs and iguanas on the street leading up to the house! I would come back to Costa Rica just to stay in Villa Fugata again! Five stars!!!
