”We had room 8 which is in a separate building behind the main house in the upstairs suite...it was lovely! Nice and clean and really nicely decorated with everything we needed for a comfortable nights rest! There are two hot tubs available for guests use eith plenty of towels in the room. We enjoyed the complimentary chocolate bars....thank you! ”
”Love the cute little cottage, right along the Cabot trail, it was perfect, quiet at night, had everything we needed. We had a great dinner meal at the on-site restaurant. It was a very pleasant experience. ”

We usually want a stay that includes breakfast, but for what we needed when, this was the best choice. (Coffee was available gratis in the lobby and we planned our own breakfast ahead of time. But there is full breakfast service in their restaurant priced by menu choice).
But very happy we ended up there.
Traditional single story motel of a certain age, but the room was completely redone and modernized. On a hill with a stunning view.

She answered all of our questions, helped me find a car service in the area and then checked back to make sure everything went well. Hotel was clean and comfortable and the location to the harbour was great for my boys!!!”
”Superbly situated for touring Cape Breton. Very comfortable room with fast WiFi. The dinner menu is outstanding - different every evening. 4 options. Four course meat, fish, or vegetarian or 8 course combination of fish and meat. We had the meat first night and fish second night. Both delicious, imaginative, and portion sizes perfectly adequate (probably need to work up an appetite for the 8 course). The staff were very friendly and well informed about the area. Breakfast also excellent. And...
”Was allowed to check in a little eerly because housekeeping was al finished. That was. Bonus with 3 kids. Slept them ate delicious bbq chicken meal. Later James made us burgers that could stand up above anybody. Rebecca was awesome enough to give us some important info regarding the areaenities and a big smile. Thanks James and Rebecca

”We were greeted by the hotel staff with a big smile and she was very bubbly and friendly. We chatted about our home towns and she told us about great locations in the area for dinner. Checkin was really fast and easy. We got the key and made our was to our room. The rooms cleanliness was exceptional. There wasnt a spec of dust or piece of dirt to be found. The beds were very comfortable. I would 100% recommend this motel to anyone travelling through that area of the province and will stay...
