”Big Paul’s is the place to be in El Nido - we didn’t know what to expect and opted for a private twin room with for £15 each Free rum and coke - for 3 hours Copious free shots - made by Paul himself Loads of other amazing backpackers from around the world Free breakfast and just everyone is so nice! 5 mins in a tricycle from El Nido town centre Bike rental yards away Can’t fault it one bit - we only wish we could have stayed longer (my liver probs couldn’t take it though)”

”We are a family of 4, we stayed at Studio 3 for 3 days. From pickup on day 1 to end of our stay, we were treated so well....the staff were so attentive, courteous, and professional! ”Really friendly and helpful staff. Good location just outside the busiest part of the town, about 10min walk to restaurants and island hopping tours. Overall quite clean considering local standards. Towels, sheets and pillows were new and clean, but mattresses seemed really old and had even mold dots, so they’d need renewing. Quite many ants walking around the room. AC worked well. Shower was ok, but some issues with electricity as in our room fuse kept popping when taking a hot shower, which...

”Hotelli oli todella upea. Ja huone juuri sellainen kuin odotettiin. Allas alue aika pieni. Ruoka ei ollut niin hyvää, kuin odotettiin. Ollaan saatu paljon parempaa halvoissa muovituolipaikoissa. Myös aamupala oli suppea ja tylsä. Olis odottanut että tämmöisessä hotellissa olis buffet, mutta ei. Valmis lista josta valitset sitte sen perus paahtoleivän ilman lisukkeita. Varattiin myös aamuksi taksi kentälle ja aamulla sitä ei kuulunu. Monen soiton jälkeen tuli puoli tuntia myöhässä retunen...

”Hintalaatusuhteeltaan erittäin hyvä vaihtoehto, mutta laadukkaasta huoneesta huolimatta ei kuitenkaan ns. premium. Kulkuväylällä ei opasteita, joten sisäänkäynti rannan kautta tulee varmasti yllätyksenä kaikille. Aamupala laadukas, joskin melko perusvarma setti. Tyylikäs uima-allas. Huoneen mutteripannu mainio yllätys. Yöpyisin uudelleen.”

”The VIEW from the hotel terrace was the BEST. The room had all the necessities. For those who prefer continental breakfast you could find toast, butter, jam, scrambled eggs and fruits. Advisable to go to breakfast as early as possible, would have wished for more bread options eg. ”

”The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room initially assigned to me the aircon wasn’t working properly. The maintenance crew arrived very quickly and assessed the issue. The management decided to change our room rather than us wait the two hours for repairs. We really appreciated their efforts to ensure our comfort. No issues with anything else”

The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful, they made my first trip to the Philippines and El Nido the best experience possible I'll definitely be making my way back here to stay longer.”
